  • A Fall Foliage Video Part 1
This video is primarily for those who grew up in New England but who have long since moved away. It was filmed in my childhood hometown but is representative of many towns in our region. When pressed about what our transplants miss most about this region a common response references the autumn colors and the New England fall season in general. Hopefully these two “Home Town Foliage” videos will bring back some memories of days gone by. And for you who have never been to New England in the fall, it is the variety of colors that attracts the attention. It is amazing to view a sugar maple that has hues of yellow, burnt orange, red, and green all on the same tree.
Also, your comments and memories of this colorful season in the Northeast US would be of interest to all of us… And not to leave out my Canadian friends, you likely experience the same blast of color way up there in your beautiful country so post away and let me know about your autumn experiences.
My TH-cam Channel is “Old Man On A Bike” and has a couple other local rides that may be of interest to former Connecticut residents… Hammonasett, Gillette Castle, and Castle Craig.
    Enjoy!
