00:19 - Chapter One: YAMASKA NATIONAL PARK (NP)
Short Ride To Campground - I parked at the Granby Tourist Center and took my fully packed bike to the Yamaska National Park. I opted for a more direct route as it was sprinkling.
01:25 - Chapter Two: ROXTON FALLS
Watch as I Cycle from campground - an Out & Back To Roxton Falls, QC explores La Route Verte 4. I found a sleepy little town on a Sunday afternoon and the falls were raging,
    04:10 - Chapter Three: GRANBY
Cycling In And Around Granby, QC - I explored the local trails within Granby and then headed west on La Route Verte 1.
    11:22 - Chapter Four: WATERLOO
This was a Big Loop that explored the southern shore of the Yamaska National Park Resevoir then took La Route Verte 4 through Waterloo, QC and then back to Granby. If you only watch one of my 4 rides, this should be it.
Note: This is a condensed version of all of my rides in the Granby Region.
This video is made for those who are not cycling enthusiasts but who might be interested in the sites I saw during my adventure to the Granby region of Quebec Province. The video covers highlights from all 4 of my rides in the area. To assist you I recommend you watch up to minute 1:25 of the video and then jump to minute 11:22 (Chapter Four) to watch my “big loop” ride from my campground to the town of Waterloo and then back to Granby. From there, if you are still interested, go back and watch my ride to Roxton Falls as well as my ride in and around the city of Granby. There was a 5th ride that I took to the Bromont Ski area but I was having audio and microphone issues and the little footage I captured on my iPhone was worthless due to it’s own audio issues with wind noise while riding. So, a little ways into the ride, I put all of my cameras aside and had a very scenic ride to the Bromont area… but one that I would have loved to have shared with you.
This trip to Quebec was tough to nail down. Between the wildfire smoke and the almost daily rain storms in Quebec, it was difficult to find a clear and sunny window and get it scheduled. I don’t shy away from camping and riding in the rain but it was the day in and day out rain I was trying to avoid. I finally found some hope for sunshine, assessed the long term weather forecast, drove to Canada in a rainstorm, and got 5 mostly dry days in the Granby, QC area. I had planned on moving my camp for a second week of cycling in the Sherbrooke QC region to the east of Granby but the rains moved back into the area with the forecast for multiple rainy days in a row. I pulled up stakes and headed for my sister’s much dryer home in Vermont.
So, this is a condensed version of longer videos that I put together for my TH-cam Channel - please take your time watching and enjoy. If you have any questions or comments add them below or message me.

With hundreds of miles of rail trails one can’t go wrong cycling in that area.
