Just grab a vatchelors handbag,stick it deep inside your pack surrounded by your sleeping bag and jacket and it'll still be warm when you get to the tops.

Just awesome Abel. Well done. I just loved you in your big puffy sleeping bag. It made me laugh. We always have crumpets in our fridge all year round. My husband loves them too. The blue scenery behind your tent was so beautiful. I get you when you say that you like beating the elements and that it’s fun. I agree, that’s what we love about camping too, we call it “roughing it”, but it’s so relaxing and so different to being at home which makes it fun. Thanks again for a great video. Just got back from a 4 mile run and It’s always nice revisiting older or newer videos from your channel cause sometimes I can catch things I missed from the first time I watched it. Also you guys are so fit and positive that ever since I have been subbed I have been getting myself off the couch and into my running shoes and into the gym!! Thanks for inspiring me. I know you guys aren’t a “fitness” channel but tbh I get tired of seeing those types of videos for motivation. I am in the UK, what you did with the crumpets I am going to try. I usually just put them in the toaster then butter them. I don't have access to maple syrup so I will probably use honey. Great video as always, love your snowy videos. Here's to the next one

Another great video. For me it’s way more engaging seeing you “misery” camp in the rain, snow or cold. It has a little bit of the pioneer spirit and you have to be prepared for the conditions. Most people only camp in the warm and dry. Keep it up and looking forward to the next one.

Big Agnes makes some great winter sleeping bags. Used mine cold winter camping. About 0 degrees with same rating F. Plenty cozy.

@@AbelandVictoria i have never visited NZ but it looks beautiful and peaceful so my kinda place and a smallish population.I could put up with bad weather as ours can be unpredictable here in the UK.Yes its an amazing place from what i have seen and you guys drive on the left like us 😂👍
@@philgibbons7108 nelson actually has the best weather in the country but I make sure bad weather is coming when I head out to camp. The hills take most of the rain and the town stays dry

There's a joke up here in Canada that says that firewood warms you twice: Once when you split and stack it, and once when you actually burn it. On a related note, I'm wondering why you don't cook your burgers over the fire in a hamburger basket, like you use on a barbecue. You'd get the smoke flavour from the wood that way.
Would be nice but cooking on fire is hard work and smokes me out

@AbelandVictoria too much to list... Kaon, Down pour top and bottom, Borealis, Pulse hood which is surprisingly warm for how thin it is and spf 50 I think, torque pants I could live in these. I wish they did kids clothes for pēpi

I have tried the Brazil and the Kenyan. I think they Brazil is probably nicer as it’s a bit more forgiving when it comes
