ASMR is okay, and I have seen almost all of your current talkies, and I like them much more. But like tonight, the shorter quiet version fit my time slot perfectly. I'm 77 and cannot go out myself, not because of age, but sever health issues. Thanks for letting me join you on your trips. I enjoy the memories of when I was able to go camping too. It helps a sick old man still enjoy a good outdoor trip. I have never commented before, and may never again. I subscribed to both. God bless.
@@azclaimjumpernothing like rubbing in the fact that you’re older and still getting out there, while this dude is younger and can’t… you must feel like an unstoppable machine that everyone must know about, you’re unbelievable…….brag much?!.
I dont know why, but this has always been one of my favorite adventures that you have done. Thank you for re-editing it this way and providing a new way to enjoy!
I listened to all of the sounds with Bluetooth headphones. What a huge difference it made as far as quality of enhancing your video. The wind actually brought chills to my bones, recalling my younger days on Swiss mountain trails. This additional channel is pretty awesome. At my present age, 76, I will stick to van camping.
Luke, the cinematic quality of these videos is amazing. Watching with head phones is like looking over your shoulder. Every sound is captured. The wind, the twigs snapping, the sound of a sleeping bag being pulled from its stuff sack. All so familiar and soothing. Sometimes talking is not necessary or appreciated. I'm looking forward to more.
I love the lack of color in the first half of your video it was all just gray and black. And then a fire. You are an incredible artist with your films. So relaxing, please keep making them.
Luke, I got to tell you mate that I was cold just watching this video. You must have lava in your veins. lol Great video as always. Keep them coming. We never get bored of watching your adventures. SaH mate.
I love this adventure, this one and the full episode. Something about being out in the cold and the peace and quiet..... although those winds were howling when you went. Keep up the good work Luke.
I've camped in all weather related conditions and consider freezing rain the worst. This would be second followed by hot and dusty. Reminded me to get firewood ready for the upcoming winter. Thanks Luke for a chilling video. 👍👍
Such scenes of raw beauty! Reminds me of childhood treks into the woods after a snowcall to witness the magic. The wind must have been brutal, however. Thank you, Luke! That scene of you fixing a meal on the fire with the snow whirling about your head is memorable!
Luke, Thank you for starting this channel. It is different to just see, the camping adventure, and not hearing your voice competing with the sounds of the nature, around you. Can not wait for "Kitty's" camping adventure. Strength and Honor, to you.
I am glad that YOU are testing this equipment in this weather! I would select my best winter gear and use it all season.😇 Once I reached such a lovely spot, I would stay for a few nights.
I loved camping in the middle of winter north of Fairbanks AK. Minus 60f. Military gear was heavy but made it work. Now special modern gear much more fun. Cheers JMHO
All of which just goes to prove that sometimes it is just mo betta, hay to wrap up in a blanket with Suzy and sit in front of the fireplace. Good show! Fitting vid with it 85 degrees outside rite now... Helps... Jerry
I really enjoy these commentary-less adventures, perhaps even more than those with commentary. Keep 'em coming, please. Perhaps even one featuring Suzie?
Dude! - Crisp, Clean, Smooth, Audio 100% - 1st time coming across your videos and I had to check I wasn't watching a damn action movie! Outstanding mate much love from New Zealand
Love all the snow I live in Queensland Australia in Brisbane it’s spring here and quite warm around 27-29 degrees Celsius I only get snow when I go to Tasmania to see my sister. Her name is Susan and she lost her only child a daughter in 2013 love the new channel ❤️👍
Very enjoyable. But, what are you made of to withstand such wind and cold!? Thanks for taking one for the team to bring us this video. Really nice work.
I love this style of channel you've created, but I would like to see these videos in longer duration. These are great for watching before bed, and just relaxing. This channel has the potential to be a real gem, just a little more molding and it's perfect. :)
Hard to make them longer if you have to edit out all the talking done on the original video. Maybe you can just play it again - like in a loop to make it longer.
I said to myself, just last week, 'I wonder if Luke is still doing his still camera work'? Some of your scenic pictures were quite good. Today, on TOGR, you mentioned this new site. Lots of nature scenes ---- very nice! You COULD talk just a little tho --- I'm up here at ...... And the shorter format is great --- those 54 minute episodes get a little long and hearing your thanks for whomever sent you the latest food/camping item/whatever was nice but not necessary (to be honest, I usually watch your vids at 1.5 speed while you are cooking/talking-around-the-campfire). Anyway, it is your show and regardless of what you put out it is great. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
It was so hot in Korea that I was dying, but seeing you'r cool snow camping made the heat cool down a little. I hope winter comes here soon too. The season here is fall, but it's still hot like summer. Thank you for sharing your wonderful camping trip!
We're just in the middle of an unseasonal heatwave here (hottest 6 sept on record)... so this is balm for the soul. Eventually winter will return. Further, great editing, subtle choice of camera angles and subjects, tempo of shots seems a bit lower than on an adventure in TOGR, which (I think) is good for this type of vid.
How is it possible to have so much talent, Simply beautiful film making skills that perfectly display your woodland skills to perfection.
Am I the only one that finds excitement in the sound of a tent zipper?
One of my favorite childhood memories! Camped 1950’s -mid 70’s! Different world now.
SuzyAnn.
That is a crazy snow ❄️ storm !!!

Nice, that you did deCloak. I'm 79 & still able to get out & into the boonies for overnights.

Excellent point
The ground looked so cold brrrrrr. Very relaxing to watch
This was very enjoyable to watch. Really digging these Quite Place Adventures. I got cold just watching the snow and wind blow, g....
Ty for sharing your experience! I love the new channel!!
I enjoy both the audio programs and these nature-sound of silence ones. Good work!

The sound of the wind alone gives me the chill. Love these elements and how you face them ( well thought)!

Damn he saved all his snow hikes for this channel lol (only joking). I like the no talking concept

Even though I LOVE your ‘TOGR’ channel better I do love the sounds of nature especially when the wind is blowing. Thanks for sharing.🐞👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🐞

Enjoyable to watch. Suggestion - roll off the bass below 50 Hz. Wind in a microphone should not sound like thunder.
Luke, you should cut sound tracks of these nature sounds and put them in an app. We could go to sleep listening.
