Just about 10 minutes in... Trailmasters require 725 belts, not the 669. I change the oil in my Mini Bikes every 10 hours without fail. Me and my dad have Street legal mini bikes, so when we ride, we tend to put a bunch of miles on them and we run at pretty high RPMs for extended lengths of time. I do recommend the magnetic oil filler cap for added protection... We took them to Tennessee and we put 230 miles on them in 2 days. 100 miles the first day and over 130 the 2nd day. We rode them all through the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas.
I take my chain off and throw it in the parts washer until im ready to ride. I blow it out and take a bottle torch, heat it up and use spray wax like our dirt bikes. Been running the same chain a coupe years that way.
Funny you had the front wheel off for maintenance cause right before you posted this video I had my front wheel off too but just because I was putting new rubber fork boots on mine that I ordered off Ebay. I didn't have grease so I squirt some assembly lube on to the front wheel bearings and it did make the front wheel spin nice and smooth.
My minor OCD kicks in when I see you reassemble with dirt/dust in spots (the pull cord assembly) lmao, sorry I know it doesn't matter, just eats at me 😛; Thanks for the video, good little watch while getting ready for work.
Do you think magnetic drain bolts and the dual magnetic dipsticks would be additional cheap protection or is one enough? I know at work we expect 50-75mg of ferrous metal in every oil change but those are a whole other animal.
I have a Kandi Batman 150cc I believe is bone stock bore63mm. Runs great but definitely needs some cvt transmission upgrades for off-roading. I want a speaker system and some led under glow installed and I’d like to upgrade the rear end with traction bars
How much metal shaving is to ne expected on the magnet on an engine that you rebuilt? I took my magnetic dipstick out of a go-kart engine, a 196 cc, that I honed the cylinder walls and put new rings and a new piston in and I could not believe the amount on the end of the magnetic dipstick.
Great info i been running my ducar for 3 years str8 no billet parts yet when I take her apart what do u think i will need to change the whole piston mabey the crank and cam ??

Quick tip for removing bearing races: Run a bead of weld on them so the metal shrinks and it will basically fall out.
Great method, Been doing it on semi wheel bearings for many years, especially the aluminum hubs.

I really appreciate and enjoy these type of videos!
Your master link clip was on backwards. Cheers Dale
It would be really awesome if we could see more riding action 👌
Thanks for the tips Greg.

Can you do a cheap Chinese diesel engine video where you optimize it?😊
Niiiiice gotta make sure nothing rattled loose during all the rides!
God bless RBG
IMO those wheel bearings seem woefully inadequate for the job they are being asked to do. I see an RBG opportunity to come up with a better option.

I thought I've seen this already.
Seems kind of odd design with all the clutch components unprotected from dirt and dust. I wonder if a tin cover is a better way to keep gunk out?

I thought the plates for a CVT were called sheaves. I never heard of them being called bells.
