❤So well said. She's gorgeous but how sad, how unnecessary! May I recommend TAKIS SHELTER (he has 500 rescue dogs) & JUTTA SHELTER since you obviously are a fellow dog 🐕 lover. Every view helps all these incredible men who devote their lives to saving dogs. Have a great day 🇨🇦👍
Rest in Peace, Roo.❤❤❤ She may be gone, but she will truly never be forgotten... For the brief time she was at The Asher House sanctuary, I've fallen in love with her immensely. I feel very joyous & glad to know that Roo's last days were among Lee, ppl (staffs & fans) as well as surrounded by her many animal siblings who abundantly LOVE & ADORE HER above & beyond. I'll forever love & miss Roo tremendously... God bless Roo, a beautiful angel.❤🙏❤
Your comment was so Heartwarming and Beautiful about Sweet Roo passing - It's so very sad what happened to her - so thankful Roo had the love of Lee, his team, and the Asher Pack - the entire Pack and other dogs in Oregon are in my loving thoughts and prayers during this terrible medical emergency - sending my heartfelt sympathy to Lee and his team.
I am positively sure the dogs knew what happened and they told her what her new home will be liked, because she looked instantly relax and happy. and everyone checked on her legs and then a few of them kept following her, even forming a wall in front of her, almost like they are protecting her and wanting to be her body guards. The Asher house dogs really rules!
Absolutely. It's as though the dogs have imbibed Lee,s loving, caring nature, and are showing the same love and care to Roo that Lee does. Animal Magic ! 🐶♥️
R.I.P Roo such a strong soul. The only comfort we can take with your loss is that you at least had a few great months of love and care from Daddy Lee and the pack. Hope the rainbow bridge was bright and warm for you ❤😢
RIP to sweet Roo. You can tell what a gentle, lovely spirit she had in this original video. Her loss is absolutely heartbreaking, and we can only say that we will miss you and that you were loved, Roo.
RIP beautiful Roo ✝️🙏🏼🌈 So grateful you got to live out your final days showered with love at a doggies Paradise, The Asher House 🐶🏝🏡 Sending love to Lee, The Team and all of the Animals. You got this 💪🏼❤🙏🏼
Roo's a brindle beauty! Thank Dog the gf, shelter, and foster got her out of that situation. She'll get her tripod strength at the Sanctuary soon. Look at how happy Mathilda is to welcome her.😊💕🐾
@@wandertree - I'm praying for her. The gf got Roo out of there, got her the medical care she needed, and got her into a safe living situation. Now, she just needs to plan her own safe exit strategy. This is the most dangerous time for her, so lifting prayers daily. 🙏
So sad to hear of Roo’s passing. Such a sweet and courageous dog. Gone too soon. Praying for Lee and all the dogs as they battle this illness striking the pack.
All of the dogs were so gentle and calm. I’ve never seem them act like that. Dogs are so amazingly loving. Thanks Lee. You are such a blessing to this world ❤
RIP sweet Roo ❤🐶 I'm sure you're happily running now with no worries. Thank u Lee for taking care of her. She'll be there waiting for you along with Maeve, PomPoms, Tony, and all your other dogs. 💜
I don't recall seeing one of your new additions to the Asher House Family be so immediately happy to be there. I love seeing how much stronger Matilda has become. I can't wait to see how much Roo will improve!
Yet ANOTHER fantastic rescue by Lee and all his staff at the Asher house, she's beautiful and has landed on her three feet, sending blessings from England.
Devastating that Roo is gone so soon. But she had love and happiness and comfort and care with you and I am grateful for that. She deserved to have so much more time with you. Thank You for loving her.
Hope she'll be eligible to get a prosthetic leg. It would help her mobility so much and give her a lot more freedom. Beautiful girl. So glad you were able to save her. ❤
With having three legs, she’s a very beautiful dog and very strong. It’s amazing how respectful the pack is and how they don’t bump into her and accidentally knock her off her feet. It’s really nice to see.❤

Roo and Matilda bonding was so heartwarming. Roo is going to thrive with all the love and attention. Matilda is walking so well! What a little beacon of hope and inspiration!
Roo was such a sweet soul. I'm glad she had a chance to feel real happiness, companionship, affection and freedom the short time she was with you. I hope her journey across the Rainbow Bridge was on all four legs once again.

Im so glad Roo got to experience unconditional love and excellent care for her final chapter. I love you, Lee. You are a super human - a light for this world. May blessings rain down upon you and your Asher House family.❤❤
Growing up in the 50’S, we had a Shetland Sheep dog, who lost her right front leg. The Vet tried to save it but, it had to go. Laddie, ran so fast, that front leg was used like it was the middle. He never skipped a bet. Funny thing, it never occurred to me as a child, that it was strange or weird…it just was. God Bless, Roo will be fine…I promise.
Roo was so unsure and sad looking on the drive back. Then she meets the dogs at the sanctuary and the difference is night and day! And omg look at how good Matilda is doing! She barely falls over anymore, she's so much less wobbly! I love how she's become the greeter for Asher House ❤❤❤
I love your storytelling techniques, Lee. You give us the emotional origin story of an individual dog, yet throughout their interaction with the pack, we see other dog friends we've met before. It makes us feel like part of the pack with you. Thank you for such lovely stories of hope and family.
She was such a precious girl. You gave her a wonderful few months. We are so sorry for this very sad loss. We are praying for all the dogs at Asher House to be safe and healed from this pneumonia.
I believe in a short time she will be running on her 3 legs with a straight back. She has now space and a loving father who will help her with her exercise routine (walking, playing, etc.). ❤
Yes, and someone please give Roo massages for her back every day, as she is overcompensating and twisting her poor sore spine. 😢 My tri-pawd Greyhound got back massages daily during his recovery and it helped him so much. Please give Roo some back massages ❤️👍🥰
@@lifesabeachnyc8568 - Well, we needed the harness for awhile, until he gained more strength in the remaining leg, and to get up stairs, ramps, and into the car. Those last 3 weren't possible without the harness.
@@Faithful525 do you think Roo can really build up the strength to walk like other 3 legged dogs? I worried that her size would make it too difficult? That’s a lotta dog for that one back leg. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog that big with 3 legs.
@@rooroob Yes, she can, but it will take working with her, full range of motion exercises, and lots of loving encouragement. Like many abused dogs, her first instinct is to protect herself, make herself as small as possible, and hope she doesn't get hit. I've seen that same auto- response in all the abused dogs I've rescued. She'll gain confidence over time, but needs the staff and volunteers to exercise her remaining leg with her, and I think the harness can help with that, to guide her and offer some support. A livestock tank filled with warm water to help support her weight and exercises that encourage full range of motion to begin with, followed by treadmill walks, and massages for her back will all help. We started Cal with short walks in the harness and swimming to build muscle.
She looks like the brindle Cane Corso I rescued from a kill shelter a few years ago. Roo looks to have the same sweet nature my Ruby had. She is such a lucky pup and has landed exactly where she is meant to live her very best life-funny how easily she fit right in! So happy to see your compassion and kindness at work once again, Lee!
