The one meal I don’t get sick of, is a simpler version of Salisbury Steak. And the way I do it gives 12 meals prepped in about 3 1/2 hours.
When I post my version of Salisbury steak, you’ll have to comment on how you do yours
Good to have you back. Missed you.
One thing you did not mention was the sheer bulk of items needed to make standard diet meals. I literally emptied/donated 3 Ikea pantries worth of food items, freeing up a ton of space no longer needed to store cans, bags, boxes, jars, sauces, flours etc.
I have a lot of digestive issues so it was 6 months before I got down to 1 or 2 meals a day.
My only real dry food storage is for cans of Brunswick Sardines in spring water which go on sale for $1.50 regularly and I need the Omega's. I buy several cases at a time.
Not sure why but when I went Carnivore, I developed a revulsion for chicken and turkey. 🤔
I used to love those, especially the dark meat.
Still love duck meat and fat.🤔🤔
I also buy $90 Briskets at Costco and Metro which I bring home and cut in 5 pieces to fit in my slow cooker. Wrap and freeze. Can be a wee bit heavy to carry especially if you buy more than 1 at a time.
1 chunk can feed me for 4 or 5 days and oh so delicious.😋😋😋
Sadly, my biggest expense is Bacon. I get rashes from all bacons except Greenfield. And this brand never goes on sale.😔☹️
I cannot afford a car so I need to save up and buy large quantities at a time when a friend will drive me for a sale on groceries or to Costco.
Recipes are great👍
A friend bought me the 2 books from the Carnivore Chef for Christmas.🥳🥳🥳
I am expecting them to arrive any day now. So excited 😃
Thanks for sharing the info
I had video on breaking down steaks hope people watch that
Thank you 🙏🏻
New subscriber and enjoying your channel. I’m a carnivore of one year and really looking forward to your meat recipe ideas. Yes, make them simple. Not interested in carnivore ways to make the sad American diet foods from my past.
Glad you are back safe and sound Marie…driving to Toronto is a challenge coming from the north (especially in the winter).
I am enjoying this journey with you.
Thank you for being so great at what you are doing.
Absolutely right😊
The amount of vegetables I was throwing away was ridiculous. Now I very rarely throw anything away. That’s a savings!
I live in Bobcaygeon. Today at our Independent grocery store I found ground beef and a pork rib roast both 30%off.I bought both!
Yeah!!
Just found you and love your channel. Been on again off again ketogenic since 2016 ever since I found out I had severe food allergies/intolerances. I feel so much better eating this way but due to stressors would fall off here and there. In August I mentioned that the only way I think I could ever go strict (Carnivorish) is if I got really big sick.
Well someone must have been whispering in my ear because here I am dirty Carnivore.
I shop the exact same way as you and just recently have found my two deep freezers stuffed to the hilt(daughter and grandson move back home)
So in an effort to make more room for everybody will be eating out of the freezer for the next month or so it will be an interesting experiment to see how fast we go through it. Anyways love your channel!
Thank you for sharing
I do the exact same thing at my local Superstore. When I get home I vacuum seal them, if they aren't already, and then throw it in the freezer. I've never had an issue with that meat a year or two later.
When I find meat on sale, I purchase multiple items. I also eat one good meal a day.
Thankyou Marie 🎉 in the moment I love to eat raw meat, Carpacio, but I love all your fine Recipes thx for sharing 🎉🎉🎉
Great information My wife Paid $8 for cauliflower today
Plus probably hot dogs same price as 1 lb of hamburger, rather have the burger
Hi Marie. New subscriber here. Loved your tallow and smashed faux potato vids. Generally that New Zealand, and the Aussie beef is both grass fed and grass finished. All beef there is grass fed to the end. Keep your eyes open, as those packs of ground beef sometimes come as 2-packs for the same price. On the flip side, cheap imports hurt our farmers.
Cheers! Bruce from Caledon Ont.
100% i prefer to support local
But can’t pass up a great deal, its already here and if i don’t buy it someone will
Marie we’ve been waiting here in south Florida with leftover bones to hear your bone broth recipe. We shop at a store here called Broward Meat and Fish where they have a great variety of meats with good prices. We tried farmers markets but the prices are way too high and the quality is on par or maybe not as good. These markets are the only place we can buy raw milk for about $12/gallon. Our favorite meat is beef ribs hence the reason for the bones we’re keeping so please help us out. Throw us a bone (broth) 😅
I will make it this week for you!

I live in Winnipeg and every morning I go to Nofrills or Safeway and get the meat on sale, i never ever pay full price. Everyday one of this stores that are in my walking distance have meat on sale. I actually got same grass fed meat like you have on sale, was cheaper with the sale than fresh normal mined meat. Ive got a few packages and froze them up
I agree with you I find meat only is cheapre then all the other junk I spent about $5 to 8 dollars a day
Yesterday I pick up a package of blade roast for $29 dollars today at no frills pick p 2 package of grass feed of gr0und beef
Hi Marie
I heard some people use pork rinds, or ground chicken as crust for pizza. I have failed miserably, would love to see a good pizza crust out of gr chicken
I don’t enjoy either pork rind or ground chicken but i do have a fun one to share
Coming soon!! Make sure your subscribed
@@HomesteadOntarioOh Marie, we can’t even buy pork rinds where we live in Switzerland. And if we could, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be using it that much for cooking. We prefer whole foods, but really love all your recipe videos!
Hi, do you ever dry meat like thin slices of chuck eye steak, rib eye, or make a sort of jerky with ground beef?
Yes i do!
Its part of my pemican recipe but i will do one on just drying meat!
Thx for the idea
