"In rheumatoid arthritis, the body's immune system attacks its own tissue, including joints. In severe cases, it attacks internal organs." Are you saying your markers for R.A. show no/zero antibodies in latest blood testing for the inflammation markers? That is quite remarkable

@@jenrich111 it is remarkable, but it has been described in the medical literature that you could reverse RA with a red meat and water diet since the 1800s, and for decades after that. But then red meat became taboo and we started eating a ton more plants and processed plant foods to replace it. Now the prevalence is much higher and you need toxic medications to hold it down

True. It is one of the things that makes him unique for someone who is XY. He must be the exception that proves the rule. Dr. Westman does not have that many guests, but he also does not interrupt. In the interests of fair play, I have to admit that I do interrupt frequently and I am a woman. But I am the exception to the rule that most women are far less likely to interrupt. Wives interrupting husbands at home does not count.

My results on Carnivore after one month at age 62: no longer pre-diabetic, lost 8 lbs, better sleep, inflammation in arm and leg gone, much less urination (shrinking prostate),thinner face and body, much better mood, no worry or anxiety, skin itchiness from carbs gone, less frequent BM’s, stay full longer, less grassiness. The whole Carnivore diet is a life-changer.

I used to need to pee several times a night. Now I don’t need to pee near as much. It is insane! I have only been carnivore for a little over a week! I always avoided processed foods and grains and breads…. But I was consuming a lot of vegetables. Unfortunately, I love the way they taste. But I have cut them out. I’m down to pepper and the guar gum in cream cheese. I’m hoping I can find a good recipe for a cream cheese and hopefully I can just start acquiring the taste for it without cheese or peppers. 😅 I’m hoping to cut out cheese. I’m also hunting for uncured bacons with no nitrites and no celery junk in it.

Cream cheese is very easy. I made mine from Mary's Nest on YT. Also, you can easily make your own bacon with pork belly and only salt. I've elearned that even the "uncured" bacon with the celery powder gives me really bad indigestion where I burp all day.

I pray you are right! Unless this gets more popular quickly, we won't have any more independent farmers to raise our beef and other animals. We have to support our local farmers and reverse some of the current laws. I read the other day that over 75% of our beef is imported. I didn't believe it so I googled it. As long as it is shipped in and packaged in America it can be labeled as product of USA! THIS IS ABSURD! If I remember right, this law became effective in 2015. We are losing our farmers and ranchers and we will be in dire straits sooner than we think! I'm afraid for our way of life and health if we don't reverse some of this! I'm ketovore because I still have a morning cup of black coffee and the occasional black olive or pickle.
My family thinks I'm a nut and insists on eating the Sad diet, mostly fast food and breaded fried frozen foods. Whatever can go in the air frier. Don't get me started on the Teflon! That's the only piece left in the house.
I'm 66f and other than the diet situation my 4 generation home is working out great for all of us, 6 years so far. I refuse to be the reason for anyone to be upset so I do my own thing. I did fuss enough that we only use real butter, no seed oils or fruit juices.
My 7yo grandson and I are working on our first sourdough bread starter. I figured if they are going to eat it let's make it the healthiest we can. I still raise an organic vegetable garden and cook it for them. Freeze and share the rest.
I have a cousin that is still farming our grandparents old place thank goodness. She has cattle and raises heritage hogs. I feed our 2 dogs raw and cooked foods mostly meat. They are so excited for mealtime! And my 14yo pug mix is moving with less stiffness and doing much better. No more kibble for them!
I just got my senior lifetime hunting and fishing license last month.
I still have too much arthritis in my back and hands but otherwise my lab work is good and the last few extra inches are coming off.
I need to learn more about this importing beef and start bugging my congressmen. It's just wrong on so many levels.

Edit: I should also add that I had lost 70lbs in 9 months. Went through 7 doctors, with virtually 0 progress. I began losing muscular function. Prior to this I am 6’2” and i weighed 215 lbs. If there is anything I can contribute to this excellent discussion, it’s that I have suffered from scoliosis since puberty. Full S curve. And have battled so much pain in my life. I had no idea I had such bad inflammation til several years ago I started omega 3 fish oil pills. Shocking reduction in pain. Now my reduction in inflammation has reduced so much more than I could ever have hoped for or knew was possible. All because I’m on carnivore for the past few months. I struggled when I had to travel for work and was gone for two weeks. I was adhering to it for the first week and a half, then it was just too difficult to continue where I was staying. I strayed. And as a result, migraine, back pain, shoulder and knee pain. Intense itching. Took a week to get back on track.
In Short, carnivore diet gives me more hope for my future. It works. It really does. Even my chiropractic adjustments are easier to accomplish and the adjustments are staying in place much longer. Real lasting improvements.

    This was excellent.
I was carnivore for about six months of 2022 and then fell off the wagon in a serious way and towards the New Year decided I would adopt a meat and veggie plan because I like vegetables and I still haven't been convinced about them not being good for you. I bought a new cookbook that was all meat and veg, a lot of veg, and found I just couldn't stomach it. I felt so bloated and felt like I was crapping money down the toilet literally. So now I'm back on Carnivore -- currently I'm doing a water fast just for fun and then I plan to hit it full time.
Interesting about the vitamin D I recently just started taking it for the first time in my life and it makes me sick to my stomach so I stopped. I hike a lot so I get a lot of sun anyhow.

The meta-analytic evidence shows that every 10 grams of fiber per day is associated with a 26% decrease in diverticular disease, in a linear fashion. Going from 10 grams per day to the minimum recommended ammount of 30 grams per day cuts the odds in about half. Further intake cuts it even more.

As a nurses aide, before I had kids 8 yrs ago, I worked in a rural hospital and was vegetarian as my parents convinced me it was the best way to be healthy.
I would have thought vegetables would have been the healing way.
Now it's a slap in the face to wake up, see the damage and torture the doctors and nurses do convincing people to eat more fiber to help the patients with colon problems. I've seen the tremendous suffering of the kindest old folk who are all mislead by wrongfully educated "professionals", most of which are stubbornly convinced what they learned is all correct.
I only wish I knew this all sooner in my life.

In the face of all these well documented facts and my own experiences from switching to keto an then to carnivore, sometimes I'm in awe how the human body finds ways to survive for decades on a standard diet. But I guess we are beginning to see that it can't work for many generations, let alone human adaptation to a myriad of plant toxins when even wild animals only adapt to a narrow choice of plant food.

The carnivore diet helped cure the follow with me- these issues all starting at age 40, now I am 46- and back to my normal weight of 122 lbs at 5’7”:
    Had insomnia- now gone
    Had night sweats- now gone
Had arthritis in hands, knees, and elbows - now gone
Had severe PMS that started at age 40 (Never had any symptoms before)- now gone
Perimenopausal symptoms- now gone and cycle back to normal.
IBS (bloating, constipation, indigestion)- now gone
Lost 40lbs now back to 122 at 5’7”
Was lethargic mid day- now energetic the whole entire day
    Brainfog, now gone.
    Eczema on hands- mostly gone
Allergies to cedar and other pollens- no cedar reaction now and it’s very high cedar pollen now in Texas- so that’s gone
No more sunburns- tan very easy and I was considered fair before. Tan lasts longer too.
Started to get angina around monthly cycle time, but now it’s gone.
Anxiety around huge crowds of people- but that’s gone.
Always felt super cold with hands and whole body, even in summer months when indoors- not anymore! Gone!
Think I was beginning to get macular degeneration and have always had good vision- but found out sugars, grains, plants, and vegetables oils damage eyes- so since switching to carnivore and no vegetable oils it would seem my macular degeneration is reversing. I can read things up close better than before. Hopefully it completely reverses like others have experienced.
Spent so much time cooking on weekends with standard american diet- but switching to carnivore has saved me time shopping in the store and cooking time- carnivore is the way to go!
More relaxed on carnivore. No stresses.
My fibrocystic breast issue has almost completely reversed. The mass on one side is almost completely shrunk and no more cysts. Cruciferous veggies did that to me since they block iodine found natural in foods. I am no more eating those!
With carnivore you really can see what issues you had before that have disappeared. I believe people have more than just one problem than they are aware of and don’t realize it until they really watch for details and see how things have changed.
I mainly eat 70/30 ground beef beef, ribeyes, pasture raised eggs, tallow from meat I have cooked, bacon, Redmond’s salt, one drop of 5% Lugal’s to get iodine, every so often salmon and chicken but not often. And the only liquid I drink is water.

There's a link between alcoholism and sugar, too. Every alcoholic I've known has also been a sugarholic.

    • @Vexarax
      @Vexarax ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hmm.. my mother and I both suffer from alcoholism but are pretty much sugar free and low carb other than the alcohol. I personally just never have a real desire for sugary stuff - savoury stuff on the other hand got me obese, sigh, so I went low carb + fasting in Feb as I’m trying to lose weight and give up alcohol. I started carnivore like a week or so ago in the hopes of trying to regulate my moods to help with the alcohol issue (and lose this last 20 darned pounds that won’t move).
What I have noticed personally in my life is alcoholics turning to sugar when they try to give up drinking like their body is trying to replace the alcohol with something else addictive :o So I definitely want to avoid that!

I hope more doctors start waking up and learning, so more can spread truth, instead of lies about our proper human diet. Today is day 17 of carnivore. I'm still using some seasonings, but not anything near what I had been using. In a few months, I plan on using only salt, after I've gotten used to just meat. I'll likely do BBBE at that point for a little while, with maybe some salmon added in for the benefits, to see how much better I do. I do get bored easily, with food and everything else also, so this is a huge challenge for me.

After listening to the elimination portion, mentioning dairy...
I'd love to hear about the difference with carnivore patients, comparing consumption of A2 beta protein cow's milk ( also present in human breast milk and goat's milk) vs much more common A1 beta protein cow's milk.
I'll mention, "Devil in the Milk" because I'm aware of the purposefully hidden info on A2 vs A1. There is a specific chapter on type 1 diabetes, so this is personally important to me.
I have seen very little discussion on what I mentioned.
If you read the book I mentioned, I'd love to see what the discussion that comes about.
