Interview Process:
The interview process is dependent on the company. Every company has its own way of recruiting its employees. However, the common process here in Poland is that you will always get a phone interview first.

I'm glad you like it. The company processing the work permit for you should be able to pay for that, however, some of them may add it to the fee that you need to pay.

Hi princess, in my opinion it is hard to find a job in Poland not knowing the polish language. I had it in many job Interviews already that it was first not that successful, after i switched to Polish what they did not expected I immeriately had the job. I worked for 5 different companies in Poland and their social structure is very different: 1 company, international with workers from all over the world, but bad payment, 2 company: Polish with a view foreigners, attracting english speakers because the recruting is in english too (at least they where able to), but the salary is even worse (no foreigner would stay there for long). 3 company an international company where working was easy going. Much better then before, the best choice for people from Africa in my opinion as they where caring about everybody. 4 company: international, but foreigners worked much harder and better then local polish people. I expect here much harder salary negotiations for foreigners. And the last company, you can say I was the only foreigner, only polish people and HR is not in mood to speak English, although they always lack of people. To summarize, i think there are a lot of polish companies wihout any foreigner and the foreigners are concentrated at the international ones. In case there will be a big unemployment period, i guess international people would have it much more difficult then homies 😂 I think in 4 of the 5 jobs i could only go because i speak Polish very well. But as always a very nice video.

Well, I'm not sure about you paying for your work permit. Yes, you can get a job with a recruitment agency but when you do, make sure you understand your contact with them :)

HI Akinola i know how much they'll pay .... you'll be paid a net salary of 2650PLN max because you'll definetly be applying through work agencies. No electrical company will employ you direct as an African unless you are as good as "Albert Einstein" in your field. I'M SAYING IT AS IT IS. Might sound harsh but NA SO E BI HERE OOOO

Yes you can, but with this you will need a good knowledge of Polish language apart from English as you will be working with both locals and internationals.

In my opinion you won't face any problem. Because that's not your fault to renew a passport, you did because it is required. And moreover you just renewed it not changed. So no worries. Go chilled

Hi Princess. I'm an EU citizen from Ireland, with around 4-5 years experience in HR. From a realistic point of view, how likely is it to get an interview from a company in Poland? Is it preferable to be in Poland for this?

Hi, well with your experience it shouldn't be too diffcult for you to get something. It all depends on your area of experience, Payroll, hiring and all.
Pay isn't very ehmmm how do you say it, not very palatable. Especially compared to countries like Germany, USA etc

Hey! I won't say that finding a job is very essay. like in other places, there are competitions and if you will get yourself a good job, you need to standout. After taxation it's 2363 PLN and 13,90 PLN respectively, so if you're paid less you're cheated. According to Central Statistical Office average salary in 2022 would be approximately 5900 PLN gross, but 2/3 of Poles earns less. € exchange rate is between 4,5 - 4,6 PLN lately.
