..You're telling me that you casually go and tell random people this while telling a phone number they could easily flood with spamming? I'm not saying I'm one of them, just saying that this isn't a very smart idea.
All Samsung screen replacements come with frame replacements, quite wasteful compared to the iPhone design
@@_ryanspecter not true, you can replace the screens only also. samsung service packs come with a new frame. and old service packs arent going to get thrown away, they are being recycled.
@@dennis-br6vr as someone that works in the phone repair industry, I can tell you we opt for full frame and display replacement, what Samsung do with those old parts, is their business.
My z flip broke right on the crease when I folded it closed after having it for about a month and a half, I sent it to Samsung and they pretty much told me I wouldn’t have mattered how or why the screen broke, I have to pay over three hundred dollars and needless too say, I did not take it well and i am disabled and on a fixed income and I can barely pay my bills let alone pay for something that I did not do. Another crappy part is when I told my carrier, xFinity about it, they said I didn’t have coverage, which is crazy because in about 5 years with them I have always had coverage. Anyways, that’s my gripe for today. Thanks

I damaged the screen when I took apart my Flip to get dust out of the hinges. Do you know if there is an online source to buy just the screen? I also need the small screen on the cover if you know a source for that as well.

Try aliexpress or ebay or any online store part.. but It’s expensive the new one around $500,, if lucky maybe u can find in good condition pre owned screen around $250 or 300 lol,, better u get new phone

Is the display of flip1 and 2 (5g version) the same product? If you transplant a display of 1 into 5g version, it works normally for one day and then dies. Both attempts had the same symptoms.

How does such damage to the screen happen? I'm thinking about getting a z flip, but seeing this I'm thinking not to
Well it caused by dust getting under the the display samsung side the device is not dust resistant are water resistant but the zflip3 is fully water resistant but it's not dust resistant if your planning to get a flip get the flip3 it's alot cheaper then the original and is much more durable and feels solid
I dropped min folded and it hit where it folds and broke the screen... It was in a case and everything.
DON'T get one. Mine cracked today. $500 to fix. Few months old.
The phone is most definitely trash. My $1,000 phone lasted two months. If you send it to Samsung to fix, it they will charge you $500 to fix it.
This happened to mine and it turned out to just be the screen protector. I replaced the screen protector and it was as good as new lol.

Mein Display ist genau beim Faltmechnismus gebrochen. Samsung verweigert den Display Tausch. Garantie ist noch vorhanden. Pixelfehler oben links. Samsung behauptet dass das Display aufgrund eines Sturzes defekt geworden ist. Dies ist aber definitiv nicht wahr. Bruchstelle hat sich immer mehr vergrössert! Reparatur kostet laut Samsung 560€ !!!

@@samtotalcare1273 Bro, you not even replacing your screen. You CLEARLY replacing the battery. Replacing the battery will not fix the screen. A cracked screen needs to replace and I see you not even replacing or doing anything to the screen.
