thanks for the Video @Richard Meza - Question: What cause this Problem? Is it, because you flip it too often or does it heat too much or why you get bubble at the mid screen? Thanks
Wow man I have been repairing phones for some time now and how I never came across your videos is wild . My opinion you made that repair so simple that a newbie with focus could do it 👏🏼
My daughter dropped and broke her Z Flip 4 last week and bricked it. The cost to have it repaired here in England makes it worthwhile. However, having seen this video I'm going to have a go at repairing it myself. Tahnsk you for the video. Just one question: do the batteries have to be glued back in? If so, what glue?
Hi Richard, I'm currently having an issue with upper back glass bcos it's comming off. Would you please give a tutorial on how to put those adhesives on? And where to buy a reliable adhesive? Please. Thanks!!
So it requires no heat to remove the backing? The front of my flip 4 works.. but when I open it up the inside screen is black. The phone has ZERO scratches as it wasn't dropped, but the phone itself just went black on the inside. I was pissed too when Samsung wouldn't honor the screen replacement. I had the phone for 10 months and they wanted to charge me 320 bucks just to replace the front screen.
Great video!! I did this repair and When i close the phone the screen is not turn off. I try orginal magnet and new magnet. But problem still here. Do you have an answer?
Hi great video, I dropped my z flip5 recently, and was going to get it fixed but now it seems to have locked me out of the phone :( do you know if i get it fixed, if it will unlock? Thank you in advance
Thanks for the video. Much appreciated. One question though. How do you if it's the screen itself that's the problem or the screen's connector cable. I have one with a problem just like this and I'll need to order the parts from abroad. So I just know what to order. Screen or just cable.
So I fallowed along and did my own repair on my z flip 4 but know my phone doesn’t take charge what u think could be the cause. When I did break my screen I had put my phone away and must have ran out of power could it just be that cause shows charge logo
Hi Richard, hoping you can help me. I sent my flip 4 to get the display screen repaired, however 2-months later my (outer) front cover now has air bubbles appear from the spine, down the side and around the led screen. The back outer cover is fine. I am wondering if when they fixed the display screen that something went wrong when putting the glass cover back on? Pls advise :)
I have zflip4 90%black screen hinge failed. Can't enter pattern to unlock Just bought another zflip to repair it and was going to swap parts. Question, if i just swap my motherboard into new phone, will that transfer my data? Thanks
Please ensure you transfer the original top magnet to the new screen when performing this repair. Failing to do so will result in the back screen not displaying when the phone is closed, as the magnet is paired with the charging port board. This step was omitted in the video demonstration.
This is an important point. However, I have put in the original top magnet, and the back screen is still not displaying anything when the phone is closed. Because it's a Z Flip4, the Samsung Self Repair Assistant for Hall IC calibration doesn't work. Do you have other suggestions of what I could try to make it work? Putting in another magnet on top (i.e.)? Thanks in advance!
Same problem here. When you close the phone the screen is nit turn off. I try orginal magnet and new magnet. But problem still here. Do you have an answer?
@@matthiasmatzer Hi, I got a new flip4 and I just replaced the motherboard of new one with the broken screen one. The outer screen works but inner screen does'nt. Can u help?
I had to repair the screen for this phone 2 times covered under warranty. the third time it broke (outside warranty) I just left it like that and switched to iphone. This phone was pretty but way to fragile to be viable in real life
This is honestly the easiest way to replace the 'screen' anything else requires a lot more time and effort to completely disassemble the phone to the point there is a lot of room for error. Especially with this flip and fold line up.

The screen protector stretches from it moving all the time. Opening and closing the phone. Its a plastic screen protector.
Can we just remove old screen protector and replace with new one ?? Thanks

Can you put up a link to where to purchase a service kit new screen?
Great vid, thanks.
I may have missed it but I'm assuming the internal storage was on the motherboard?
Great Job, now I know why I was charged $400.00
There is a repair store trying to charge almost 600 for a screen repair

Just use double sided tape.

I would have to see a picture of it. I couldn't tell you if I can't see what you mean. I dont fully understand about air bubbles.
Thanks. The black screen issue is the big magnet. Just you need to use the original magnet.

Almost a new phone aside from the back panels!
Hi where did you buy the replacement part from?
exactly what i was thinking
Aliexpress. 50$ for a scratched but 100% working or a full new one for a few hundred.
Also samsung is selling them
But are they the same quality as samsung 🤨 would rather buy from samsung then@@tonywagner4836
