Another great hunt and video lads. Here in the UK we call those type of fallow bucks fish tailed antlers. Looking forward to the next film cheers boys happy eating 👍🏻 🦌
That’s interesting, I’d never heard of fish tailed antlers. Most of them are like that on our place. Glad you enjoyed the vid and thanks for the comment👍
Hey Sam, what a fantastic episode. Great to see you finally get a hunt in.. And even better to have you voice over your hunt. I really enjoyed this one.. And what a fantastic colour and set of antlers on the old boy.. Hopefully we will get to see alot more videos this year from you boys.. oh and don't forget Pete,, Cheers lads. Catch you on the next one cheers Champions..
Thanks Bryan, appreciate the comment. Yea I was really happy to finally get a decent buck. They are surprisingly hard to get even when you know they are there on the farm somewhere. We’ve only really shot 2 good ones in about 5 years.
Welcome back Guy's .. absolutely another spectacular beautiful fabulous documentary countryside vloggs and I really appreciate and admire your super Awesome content vloggs adventure, keep it up, take a stay safe .. Merci from Mtl Cdn ..
OMG, glad y'all survived the flooding rain, news here in rich American hunter land was full of crazy flood images. That image of the silt left behind burying houses to their roof line was epic. Y'all like to import animals to hunt, deer, elk, shamies, etc Y'all should import some griz, puma and timber wolves to hunt? Something exciting that can hunt you back.
Yea it’s been crazy weather here this summer. The days of importing game animals in NZ are well and truely over I would think. Will have to travel to experience that kind of hunting. Hopefully one day. Would love to hunt in the states one day.
Well done on the buck sure does look in good condition and not surprising with the wet summer we have had . As for sighting in rifle I marked inches on the box from the center makes it quick and easy to work out and at a 100 you want it shooting a couple inches high then would be bang it and 250 to 300 yards. I would do abit of practice with my 22 as ammo cheaper could shoot rabbits out to 100 yards then move that over to my rifle then wouldn't take many shots to get it shooting mint
Yea we really need to take the time to make some better targets😅 We always try to do a bit of 22 shooting before the roar. Good to get some target practice in. Makes a big difference.
What a cool looking animal and in fantastic condition! He obviously enjoyed the wet summer more than most of us.
Haha yea she’s been a rough year weather wise
good one boys

Now THAT is an awesome character head. It's actually really nice. Hoping to get my own this year in Mangamahu. Keep em come guys. 👍
Yea we are stoked with it. Thanks!

Haha yea got it all from hunting Aotearoa over the years
If it is a floating barrel then putting pressure on the barrel with his finger then not could cause an issue.

@@clarkeboyshunting with the targets buy a couple paper ones from a hunting store then just photo copy them quick and easy to tape to a box
Amazing guys what lush countryside you live in 🤙🏴
It’s lush this year from all the storms. Most years it’s a dust pit this time of year. Much better when it’s like this for fat deer
you men are Awesome keep it up 💓💓💓💓👍👍👍👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the vid!
What sort of binoculars do you use
Zeiss victory rf, Burris signature 10x42 and Bushnell engage 10x42. All are good but depends what you wanna spend
YTB! How'd you fellas cope with the flooding churrr
Cheers bro, we are all good. Bit of a clean up but nothing like down in Hawke’s Bay.
