Great to see the little man getting his first taste of possum hunting and some $$$! I’m surprised you guys don’t have a small kick-start battery pack, with all the awesome kit you’ve got. We have one to take camping as my uncles truck always runs its battery flat, it’s USB charged and has plenty of kick to turn over a 12V battery. Sweet rifle too, good accuracy on some of those long shots.

Another gift from Australia all them years ago hey 🤪 Wish I had of plucked/plugged them while over in your country. Could have earned a $1 or $2
same thing happened to me. took a mate and his grandson out to introduce the young guy to hunting. last paddock before we needed to turn around and the battery died. hadn't even used the lights, just broken voltage regulator 🤦
Ha ha, flat battery and a long walk back. Boys smile at the end of it was worth a million buck. Y'all cooking up a good posum stew with those critters, lot more meat on em than squirrels?

There hasn’t been TB where we live for over a decade so it’s very low chance of contracting it but still a good idea to wear gloves probably
