Idk what your settings are like, but my two tips are 1. Make your vertical sensitivity about half of your horizontal. Gives you range of motion and takes away a lot of the instability. 2. Rest your hands on the desk or lap(depending on how you sit) 3. Use the bumper to shoot. It is a shorter travel button and is less likely to make your aim get pulled off target while you shoot.
Exactly what I do but I used the hair trigger settings instead. On my ps4 controller I took the doing out to make it even better than a button but I don't recommend it
Pretty cool, i have used gyro for years as well. If you are using a DS4 i would recommend the DualSense, it has a 500hz gyro, meaning very low inputlag! I also recommend playing around with acceleration on gyro, i like medium setting - it feels pretty linear and gives good precision at small movement while not throwing you off at bigger movements. Dont let all the aim science on normal mouse scare you off with all the "acceleration = bad" gyro is a totally different beast. Subbed.
Maybe you did not know but even when you map keyboard to gamepad you can kind of simulate analog walk and even run. Steam has an outer ring binding. You can map the run key theire and set a threshold by using the softpress activator. If the game also has a walk button you can make another ring binding and inverse it. then set the threshold for that aswell. Some games this will work, others it does not. For example i tried that on ratchet and clank and the ratchet flicked in place evertime i moved the stick beyond the threshold.
Haven't tried the Steam Input implementation of Flick Stick in a while. Didn't like it when I tried it. The original JoyshockMapper implementation was much better.
its easier for me cause it feels just like keyboard and mouse. Depends on the person I would think, I havent used a controller the normal way since bo2 so for me it would be a lot harder
@@mikeymayhem_ would u say gyro is hard to get into or to get use to and what games would u recommend practicing to get better i didn't even know bo2 had a gyro setting
@@lonkin7823 If you play on keyboard and mouse its probably easier to get into gyro aim. I would recomend steam input if you're on pc. Any game! if you want to practice flick stick i recommend any cod or any casual shooter like a zombies game, or minecraft. I started in Team Fortress 2
@@mikeymayhem_ iv'e been trying it on csgo and its really fun actually getting kills some how i don't know if i have it setup correctly do u have a steam config u could send me on discord or something like a link im using sticks to track and gyro to pull down for recoil im still very bad but honestly wanna keep using it.
@@lonkin7823 I dont play csgo but on the gyro I have the smoothing at 0% and acceleration at 0% also Ive never made a config with normal stick movement, but i would assume you would want some kind of acceleration. Great video. I don’t use flick stick myself because: 1, I mainly use a steam controller and 2, I play a fair bit on GeForce now and I’m pretty sure that flick stick is too fast for it. I should test it though.
that's why they shouldn't allow playing cross-platform, PC with PC, console with console. The FK autoaim is the most disgusting thing ever, and the FK zero recoil while the person is trying to play with mouse and controller.

Super well done video! Lots of good information.
Thanks bro
What's your opinion on Steam Controller vs Flick Stick?
theyre both just as good, I think the steam controller has easier accessibility than flick stick but flick stick might be better
I play every pc game on controller, some games it really depends on the movement because if you’re too fast it’s way harder.
Amazing video!
Thanks!
First. I am your biggest fan!

Imo I think it's perfect. I'll have to try that as well :)
You have to tune it per game.
Great video!
Thanks!
very nice, I love gyro aim
thank you I tried my best
Good video.
do u use the stick just to flick and gyro to do all the aiming is gyro aiming not harder then using the stick to track and gyro to pull down?

I just use the gyro and flick that mw2 has

it would make a lot more sense to remove / reduce aim assist. No reason to stop friends from crossplaying with each other
