Was debating what colors to make my 81 GL1100 when I’m done with its restoration. After seeing this bad boy it will be the same as this bike, man it’s slick!
Curious about your clip on handle bars. Could you send me a link. Also wondering about the exhaust. If you had it custom made it bought it and had it installed.
Beautiful build. It looks factory which is something I'm going for on my own build. Would you be so kind as to explain your rear end with tail light. Thank you friend
I used the stock fender just cut it down considerably. The brake light is mounted to struts extending off the rear frame cross member. Signals are mounted in the rear shock bolts. Hope this helps
No I haven’t. But in all honestly I didn’t ride it much when it was stock. I’m going to be putting a more restricted exhaust on next season, we’ll see what happens then.
Thanks pal. The clutch and brake assembly is from 2003 a cbr600rr, the levers are Pazzo shorties. I’d say go used before you went with some of the junk that is available online. Brakes and clutch are kind of an important part of the motorcycle ;)

John Dang thanks man. It was made. Its the stock seat foam and pan. I just reworked them both to get the current shape. Then sewed up new leather to wrap it all up.

I have the same bike now. 6900 miles on it. Runs like a top. Bout to do the same thing and cafe it out. Yours is beautiful. Good inspiration

Love it! I have one very similar!
Such a nice build!
Thanks!
Can you tell where you got your headlight and exhaust
how did you mount your slip on pipe on the left side?
Love these videos change the seat to a 50 ebay seat and put a set of emgo handles on it an all the sudden it's a fully restored cafe racer
Those seats are 250-400 bucks.
Good job looks great

Do you put cbr clip ons on the stock front end?
Marco I'm actually building one if these. Did you have to get the carbs rejet? Hows the bike running?
I haven’t rejet the carbs. Just opened up the idle jets a turn. It’s running well and fires right up right away. Good luck on the build!

I ground them down flush on both sides.
Beautiful. Who did you buy your headlamp and Bars from?
Draggline 77 both from amazon.

Draggline 77 nope, I haven’t needed to. I’m thinking about pulling them out just to give them a clean.
