Hi neighbor. My 20 acres is on the highway between Fandango and Fossil lake road, on the south side of the highway. Maybe see ya out there sometime. Bit cold there right now. Though I likely wont build there, I did do my research and can if I wish. Septic would be like yours, leach field type. I've been told water is only about 150'. My use, at least for now, is a rv pad that I have control of. So when the parks are busy and I want to go to the dunes, I dont have to put up with any issues.

That's really the best thing about having land out there is having a spot to stay that's all to yourself. We went with an in-town lot for the water availability, but if I had more money I would have bought outside of town like you.

@@GregsWorkshopOregon Both have their pluses and minuses. In town is so awesome to be able to just walk or ride the quad to dollar general, or dinner at the ranchhand etc. Whereas if I forget something, I have to ride or drive 5 miles.
When I was there last the first week of october, I did see several new foundations and septic fields going in around town. Hopefully enough of the abandoned lots will get bought up and cleaned.

Hey Greg! Glad to see you on here and in CV! There's still a group of us coming for the annual CV trip at the end of the month. Charlie and myself are both thinking about getting property out there. Although he's thinking in town for the water and power and i would like to be further out.
Thanks for the great videos and maybe we'll see you out there again sometime, for some prairie doggin!

I went with Vince Perez, he's a straight shooter and the process and price are straightforward.
