94 Honda GL1500 Goldwing - Fuel Filter Replacement, Cylinder Inspection, and Compression Test

Four months from now some buddies and I are going to ride from the Washington, DC area to Chicago and then to Los Angeles via Rout 66 on motorcycles. I bought a non-running 1994 Honda GL1500 Goldwing Aspencade for the trip.
This video is the fuel filter replacement, cylinder inspection, and compression test. Follow along as I get it ready for its maiden voyage.

Thank you for the video! Question for ya, the tube that connects the fuel filter to the top of the fuel pump, how did that tube feel? Mine feels very hard to touch, and I’m not sure if that’s normal. This is my first Goldwing haha

All the fuel lines seemed more stiff than I am used to but I assume they are all original which means 30 years old. Don’t mess around. Replace them with quality fuel line.

@@adrianb1655 I did the same thing. The last thing I wanted to do was invest in a lot of parts only to find some catastrophic problem.
