Anyone else having an issue with MVC2 not being able to play online? I can connect on MVC1 and the other games, but not MVC2. It doesn't even show the player names in the top corners, can't figure out a solution!

I just tried MvC2 online the other day and it worked for me. Seems to be better experience as well with minimal lag. Would recommend hard wiring tho if you can

Rewatch the stream... lol, thank you for giving me the opportunity to play you B. I use to be the king of the laundromats. Where i use to put arcades over studies. My obsession began at 5 yrs old just mashing buttons, bo skills just a kid obsessed playing mvc1 trying to beat my worst nightmare CHUNLI GAMBIT OR CHUNLI HULK. my dad supplied so many coins at the laundry I was spoiled kid. I always go it my way. Anyways in my own childhood journey to walking countless hours and places to find arcades, werher on video shops, liquor stores, laundromats or maybe even obscure places like restaurants. Goods days. Mvc1 was a game I really got well acquainted with. ther was a huge time I stopped playing it because the arcades were a thing of remembering an they no longer we're evreywhere like before. I stopped playing the game like 8-10 years. The competition wasn't their anymore. All I had were memories of how good I was in my neighborhood or other locations not to far from my home. In 2008 my friend showed me the world of mvc1 youtube videos my mind was blown away. So I decide to practice some combos. High school laundromat where everyone hanged before they went to class was where I acquired recognition of me being the best. Later after watching youtube videos of combos like 2 days later I saw actual matches, an questioning myself if I was even good because this other players were doing infinites they were comboing in Duo mode. Leaving me only to know I wasn't even close to mastering the game rather only mastering the tacticts... such as pushblock, blocking, guard breaking, and things I learned on my own. Jumping at back in time of my middle school I was already practicing mvc2 I taught spiderman, gambit and megamen were the best since I've already had knowledge with them in mvc1... year later I moved to cable, bbhood, ironamn because I can shoot with cable on ground then activate triple team and in middle school I learned an amazing thing if you wiggle the stick you get more damage. BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT US THE OG PLAYERS IS WE DIDN'T HAVE TH-cam BACK THEN, WE WERE BUILT UNIQUE, WE HAD OUT OWN COMBOS, OWN IDEAS OF BEATING SUCH CHARACTER. AND IF SOMEONE WAS FEELING NICE HE MIGHT SHARE SOME OF HIS KNOWLEDGE. SO BECAUSE OLD PLAYERS DIDNT HAVE ALL THIS FRAME DATA AN COMBO VIDEOS YOU JUST SAW SOMEONE ELSE'S HANDS AN WHAT BUTTONS THEY'RE HITTING.
well anyways, in high school is when I found out spiderman gambit an megamen weren't going to win in any serious matches with professionals.
I was the young kid in the arcades filled with older men an I was welcomed to play at the second cabinets where all the noobies trained or played. It took years before I can play the best players. And actually like hang with them. Tho their much older I respect them more.
My fighting journey happened when the arcades were at their best. Competition was everywhere. Then ps3 came and at least in my neighborhood or other areas pretty far away weren't hurt. They still had people who tried their best to keep arcades alive. Till this day their is one place that still has an arcade it's called Family Amusement Corporation by LACC. I taught arcades were a place to go in search if one was still open. I only saw like BARS had old classic arcades. I was forced to buy a modded ps3 with mvc2 and other games only thinking of the beautiful days where arcades were prevalent. To end things I noticed that their was such thing as arcade1up but I only kept seeing mvc1, mk, killer inst, galaga, pacman I knew those games weren't fro me, well mvc1 arcade was expensive for me. Then I see later like maybe 4 years later mvc2 and it has all this other games I need to get that beauty and it has online. Wow. So within having the arcade 4 months I decide to look for help on how to anything about the arcade... I found your channel the most clear an fun and I learned more about the world of modding. Thanks B

@@KongsRUs oh yeah next time you go live if I'm tuned in, for sure!. Your above very descent at the game B, despite me getting the infinite and making comback... the life bar of my characters were near death. The score was 2-2, that sais a lot of your gameplay. Your definitely not a noobie but you are well prepared to give a challange. If I recall right the first match you won me VERY CONVINCINGLY! I was shooked, yo B is nice. Your nice. Thanks again tho.

What's your definition of "dead"? I still see a few people on every time I login to the cab. It's not as popular as when it first went online, you can absolutely still find a match no problem in MvC2. There's ALWAYS people in MvC1 lobbies as well.
