I was putting my tools back today when I discovered mine I was so excited. But I guess the original owner kept the drawer under the passenger seat.

The compartment under the table, where you're storing your "emergency supplies" at lol, is actually a self draining ice chest. It has a drain plug at the bottom of the compartment😃😁😊
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY '99 CR-V; that as of right now has 332,000 ORIGINAL miles on it, btw!🤯😁
If you just keep up basic car care/maintenance and truly care for 'ol Leroy lol, then a Honda CAN last you your entire lifetime, and probably more!!😊🤙

The extra struts on one side of the table are for putting teatowels on to dry and/or hanging wet things on. The well that it reveals is a cooler, just add ice and beer or wine and you're ready to go!

You guys are great!!. I have owned two. A 2001 and now 2006. My 2006 “Lil Susie” has 218 k miles on her. Other than oil and transmission oil changes she has performed flawless. You definitely have a keeper. They run forever.. I got Lil Susie with 50k miles on her. Good luck and enjoy your ride. Oh btw that little styrofoam cone you found goes in the middle of your spare tire if a Honda symbol is not there. Guess it make the tire cover fit flatter.. And the cover goes on better when it’s warm.. Good luck he should keep you rolling for a long time.

Horizontal bars on one side of table are a rack for tea towels or drying wet clothes

I bought a Honda CR-V rd1 from a friend in Kenya. I guess it had a terrible accident initially and almost everything is messed up.
Is it possible to completely replace it’s wiring system and to bring it’s body back to life?
I guess I might need to replace it’s gearbox also. I haven’t yet met a mechanic who’s conversant with Honda

My family has owned a 2nd gen CRV since 2005. I didn't see the latch until yesterday when I vacuumed the interior and didn't know what it was until today. 😂

Lauryn, you should check out how to make the front of your CRV into a bed. With the front head rests off they can recline flush with the back seats, then the back seats recline slightly.
All 1st and 2nd gen CRVs have picnic tables
If you open too far without a strut it will bend your door on the hinges. Be careful

On the 2002-2006 models?? I knew about it on the first gens but had never heard about that on a second gen. Might have to run down to the garage now to investigate. Ha.

Victor Pho Kai all of the 1st and 2nd gens have them. And the first gens had reclining seats in front and rear that can be laid out into a bed

You need the gas strut on the back door otherwise if it would swing open all the way with any strong wind you could really damage your hinges holding the door in place. Always keep thinking why the put something on your vehicle. Don't just leave something off..but great little cars. I have a 2006 that I bought new now in 2020 only has 83500 miles on it a 2 wd EX. Keep your oil changed and it should last an easy 300,000 miles. Have fun I see there are a lot of videos out there and you can do a lot of fun stuff with these little guys.
The spare tire would do some damage to the rear 1/4 panel if the door swings that far open!

This model does NOT have mini fridge. And I don’t think any of crv have mini fridge.
is more of a cooler.. locate in the front dash under the radio.

Also using the door without a gas strut is very dangerous and damaging to the door hinges
10mm = 3/8's (9.5mm) 8mm= 5/16's
There should be a 'U' shape tube in the door that can be put over the rod part of the Gas strut that will hold the door open when your on an incline or the wind is blowing hard.
Always with hondas,nissan,toyota etc....foreign.
