Someone in America came across a very rare book called "An Atlas". In it, they found many strange and exotic places that weren't America. And one of these places was a continent called "Europe". And in Europe, they found a country called "Germany" and in Germany, they found something called, the Nürburgring.
Still no video shows justize to this track, that makes the magic of the Nordschleife. 90% of the people never experienced a car behave like it does there. Itˋs like a very mean real life video game.
@@KALIMONINGRAD Be careful now. This guy actually has a passport and USED IT. The big problem he had at the start, was these stupid Germans not understanding the American language! Come on! If an American person turns up in YOUR country, you should be thankful. OH. Hang on a minute.
First you are to far away of the stearingwheel. Second, if you don’t want the car to shift up, put it in sports mode. Third good idea, to take a guide And yellow means max speed 80km/h and no overtaking. And you got that typical American drive style. It’s getting better but that is not useful on a racetrack. Here you had to drive more smoothly. Not braking long and low and than slam full of the gas. Next time book a guided lap, that will help you a lot
You did a great job 👍🏻. You did not over pace your skills. Car is still working and in good condition. Done everything right. I hope you had the time of your life 🎉
Ich freue mich das sie den Weg zu uns gefunden haben. Hoffentlich hatten Sie einen schönen Aufenthalt und konnten dieses einzigartige Erlebnis genießen! 😌👍🏽
You have fulfilled your dream and now know what it’s like to drive over the ring. The idea of borrowing a suitable car on site for several laps was very good. You had the right equipment and also some time to improve. This made it a unforgettable experience. But I am sure you will not quit your job to become a professional race driver. There is a lot missing, from a correct sitting position and a reasonable setup of the car to a fluid driving line. Much too much on the steering wheel, much too much on the brakes, only by chance short periods on the ideal line. But very good was your mirror observation and your respect for other drivers. This is why you came home safe.
Remember this was his first time. Sure it was very slow but better slow than crashed. But tbh... "Trailbraiking" at Schwedenkreuz at just 110kph was hillarious. Typical speeds for that corner is like 180
It's interesting to see how obviously very different the vibe you get on the Ring with is. I like your careful approach to slower cars, but you obviously didn't understand when they were signalling you that they had seen you and gave way for you to pass. 🙃 Hope you enjoyed the trip, not just the Ring, for that's what it is for. Forget lap times as tourist driver there. You´ll never be Sabine Schmitz. 🤗
funfact: if you would have the nürburgring media accreditation, like for example misha charoudin, doing something like this (22:54) could get you into serious trouble. recording crashes and doing close-ups of crashed cars is not allowed. you can get your media accreditation get removed or even worse face a ban from the track for weeks, months or even lifetime. the reason for that is that the ring wants to keep it more discrete for the drivers that had an accident on the track.
A guy enjoying himself and so many comments are insulting. Why did they watch the video in the first place? It was obvious after a few minutes that the guy was not there to show the world his F1 class driving skills but to have fun on a mythic track. Haters are a disease.
I know you are new to the track. So I will not bother and say something dumb like Why didn't you order a GTD? They got more power in the bottom rev line. Well you didn't do too bad 😉 You got yourself, the passengers and the car back in one piece. That's better then some do. Hope you liked the Eifel, our food and Germany too. Take care
A few buzz words that made me nervous…American…first time…driving….Nordschleife…😮 😜 Next time, try a Clio 200…way more fun and track-ready even in stock condition.
I doubt that they offer modified cars because of the Strict Rules in Germany, an actual modified car wouldnt be street legal. At least really hard to get it through TÜV
if you want to see some examples of cars that people use to drive on the Nürburgring, you can for example search in TH-cam for the search term *"Nürburgring Touristenfahrten"*
That Golf should be singing all the way round man. I bet you had another two laps fuel left after that! 😅 I’m just messing mate. Rule one, get round without binning it. Rule two, enjoy yourself, which you clearly did. Nice one.
@@TRIZEVlogs I wasn’t giving you advice. I WAS going to comment about you having a god complex issue while doing the laps, but then thought, this guy is high on adrenaline and loving the experience, so I didn’t. It seems my first assumption was correct. Take a joke Ayrton .
Great job, yes you could do better on the brake and with gears but, car in 1 peace, have some fun, Not messing with others. You payed e rental and bring it back, Great job. And the golf is not the hottest knife on the ring.
Funny; you stayed at a hotel which is some 300 meters away from where my ex-girlfriend was raised. Pretty boring place but conveniently close to the autobahn. 😂
When you crash, the airbags will blow off your thumbs. You paid 700 dollar and did only 154 km/h? Could have done that for free on the Autobahn, using any 1 liter diesel car.
Your personality was the worst part of the video, no one was racing against you, there's no need to comment so much or the madness of overtaking a mito. The laps were slow, normal for the first time, but a lot of comments, a lot of god complex and other unnecessary things
Your nickname fits your character. You behave like a lousy rat! Either you've had zero education or you're just stupid or both. Nobody forced you to watch his video. Learn to behave yourself.
@@NormanTheDormantDoormat That wasn't just an observation. It was a comment, if you knew how to read between the lines. I was saying, that was absolutely pathetic driving and that he should be ashamed of himself for getting passed by tiny city cars. He needs to turn in licence and never drive again.
@@the_releaser It's not (just) a matter of how big the car or engine is, it's mostly the experience of the driver that makes the difference. It might very well be that the drivers of those tiny cars have been driving on the Nordschleife for who knows how long. So they know every corner, every bump, every detail. An experienced Nordschleife driver in a tiny car is always faster than a Nordschleife novice in a powerful car.
@@the_releaser A license has absolutely NOTHING to do with racing skills. Makes a lot more sense to terminate your internet access for posting these pathetic comments.
How do I say it as friendly as possible? First things first - at least you didn't cause a fatal accident. But it turned out once again that Americans can't drive a car. My grandma would certainly not have been slower with an old VW Beetle.

This looks much fun to do. I played the video at 1,5 times the speed to help you get better laptimes 😀

Yo. Your Camera Setup shows the elevation changes pretty damn good. It doesn't come over like this in many other Onboards. Good one! No Gopro i guess?
