    I drove a Ringfreaks Golf GTI right after the N24 in 2023. I even had Ignas as my guide for two laps, he's a great guy. The reservation process and check-in are as easy as he described. One thing he didn't mention is that Ringfreaks gives you a new balaclava to wear under those helmets. You also get a copy of the Go Pro recording looking over your shoulder and out the front window. This includes a map showing your location on the Nordscleife, and the KPH speed and RPMs.

    Stayed for a week a little bit away from Ringfreaks (like 1 min drive) and the area is beautiful, I miss this place from the bottom of my heart 😢

    For someone like myself that lives in a next country and wants to drive on the Nurburging before I die, this is really informative, not sure about my drivers license but thank you

    Great video. Did my first couple of laps on the ring with a Golf GTI and a BMW 328 from Ringfreaks. Both very well prepared for the track and it was me who was the limiting factor 😅

      I think it's ok for personal use, but you need a media agreement if you post such as on TH-cam (I think)

    Awesome video, just one question related with the paperwork, I'm from Mexico, so, do I need a special driver license??? or my driver license here in Mexico can be used for the paperwork as well??? or do I need to request another kind of driver license when I arrive to Germany or I can request for some kind of driver license online??

    Hi lads great vid..i have a few questions. Ive a golf booked on a sat evening sesion for 2 laps. The track is 1400-1900. When do i need to show up to sign paperwork..also when do i need to bring the car back ? Do i have time to park up or take pics etc ? Its an all exclusive booking so tickets and fuel etc.. thanks

    • @Ringfreaks
      @Ringfreaks  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! good to hear you are coming! You should arrive an hour before session starts, it means around 13:00 at Ringfreaks. You can take a brake between the laps, but of course - once you are done, we expect you to return the car so we can start preparing it for next day :) see you soon!

    In your video we see a couple of cars who keep straight pass the exit. Is that possible if you have purchased multiple laps? Or do you always have to exit towards the Devil’s Diner?

    • @Ringfreaks
      @Ringfreaks  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Usually on Fridays and weekend days there is additional barrier on the main straight. So if you have laps in your lap card and you want to continue - you can use that passage

  • @muzadmr
    @muzadmr 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Cant you enter without card? Is qr code from phone not enough?

    • @dennisvanrossum1986
      @dennisvanrossum1986 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      QR code from phone should be enough, but it didn't work for 3 of my 5 laps last week. However the friendly people at the barriers helped me out.

    • @Ringfreaks
      @Ringfreaks  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can also make an account online - add credits and once you arrive at the ring - ask for a green hell card connected to your account. Cards work better at the barrier and in my opinion - less risk of loosing your phone and faster to handle while entering the track.

    Thank you! Very interesting video. I have a question: Where can I drive a selfmade racecar which is not street legal?
    Is it allowed on trackdays? How are the rules? Where can I find them?
    Thank you

    • @Ringfreaks
      @Ringfreaks  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! During Tourist drives 100% not, but on some trackdays it is allowed to drive non-street legal cars. But in my opinion - it is better option to choose smaller tracks with more run of area, as well with closer pits. In case if anything goes wrong - you can fix it much faster and be back on track.

    • @Builtrc1
      @Builtrc1 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you, that's of course better. Unfortunately I find it hard to get the information I would need to make the right decisions regarding my plans to build an amazing machine. Because it wouldn't make sense, if I can't drive it legally and if it is not allowed to take part in races.
      Ideal would be to build something that is street legal. But where can I find all the regulations or somebody who knows all that stuff regarding street legal racecars?
      I would really appreciate it, if you could help me or maybe get me some contact to someone! 🙏🏻😃

      @dielaughing73 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Builtrc1 "street-legal racecar" is an oxymoron. If you want an actual racecar you need to make modifications that make it non-street-legal.
      If you want a trackday car that can be driven on the street, just modify it within the rules for your local jurisdiction. The best place to learn what mods to do is from other drivers of the same car. Meet some people and do some research online.

    My experience: If u meet Ringfreaks or Rent4Ring rental on track, be extra, and I mean what I say, be extra extra careful when overtaking them.
    Reason u can see at 2:00. No checks if ur capable to drive the Nord or that specific car or know the rules of Nord or just basic rules of driving on a racetrack.
    And another thing: Whatever happens, by German law ur always at least 25% guilty. I repeat: Also when it´s 100% not ur fault, ur 25% guilty

      This is a bit of a disingenuous comment. These are not particularly high horsepower cars. No other rental company requires an instructor lap for cars at this power. R4R does for Alpine. Your drivers license is reasonably assumed to suggest sufficient driving ability, for these power cars, on TFs.
      Youre zero’ing out 2 particular companies for a policy all of them have. None will require you an instructor lap in a
