Joan is beautiful. Great episode. Been watching some of these Orson Wells episodes, not one - so far - is weak. His monologues/epilogues are a master class.
I literally just discovered this series a couple of days ago , and l’m blows away! I love Tales of the unexpected and Hitchcock presents so this is right up my street that’s for sure 👌
When I was a kid in the 1970's, I was a real fan of old radio dramas. Particularly the horror shows like Lights Out and Inner Sanctum. So when I saw the ads for this mystery show hosted by Orson Welles, I got pretty excited. It turned out to be a little too understated for my tastes at that age. I'm better able to appreciate these well written and performed shows now.
The Corporation was right in protecting its interests. Remember Joan Crawford & PepsiCo? She went through Alfred's money like wildfire - the stress killed him - and he was crazy enough about her to not protect the Corporation from HER taking a seat on the board after he died.
I’ve worked with many a people who have money and many of them act just like this - condescending, judgmental and snotty! That said, there are plenty of people with money who act nothing like this and are great fun to be around! Joan Collin’s was absolutely a stunning woman!
@SteveFBS yeah I've assembled what I could find into playlists. I have a weird obsession with making playlists and putting them in order. Those shows definitely match the type of show you've posted so I figured I'd ask. Thanks for responding

Joan Collins is so funny in this episode! 😄 Thank you!
Brilliant! As good as Tales of the Unexpected! And Joan Collins is always a delight to watch

@karenoconnor4180 We could probably be friends
There is something about Orson wells here reminding me of Truman Copote .
Absolutely! Loved this episode and Joan was terrific!
I thought Ms.Collins is quite amusing and comical.

I like how Orson Welles mocks computers with a very sceptical eye. Quite profound.
I think computers are highly overrated. The more" advanced" technology becomes, the" less humane " people become and " ARE."
@NancySanders-om4ic Well said, Nancy. I couldn't agree more 👏
Very good❤! Thank you so much! Enjoyed every bit of it!
1:39 This little monologue describes current reality more accurately than life back in 1973.
Great episode. Thanks. ❤
Really brilliant I had no idea of the twist 😅
Brilliant! Thank you.
Some great actors in this one
Loved it!
"She was lucky, though... She got it back!!" 😂🤣😂
Joan Collins! Excellent. And don't judge her character right away, she has a twist for you.
She’s right about golf
Joan, so beautiful
Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thankyou 🎉
My favorite Anton Rodgers is here ❤❤❤
🤣 she got it back!😂❤
Wow it's Joanne ❤

Up to her thigh? That's hysterical!
Joan Collins was great in this! 👍👍
An ALL star cast!
Mapp and Lucia
Keeping up Appearances
To the Manor Born
Dynasty
The thing is, if I was at the dinner party, and a young Joan Collins turned up looking like that, I'd be thinking, Hell, yes!!
You can bet they quietly WERE.
Goes on, doesn’t he!

Good to know.
I have to say until he became terribly overweight Mr Welles was a very fine looking man 😜
Yes & was married to beautiful women of the time as well.
@@kathyflorcruz552 WHO?! Kim
Do you by chance have any episodes of either Menace or Against the Crowd?
@@FrithonaHrududu02127 Sorry, I don't, but there are a few episodes on other channels on here.

Feel sorry for joan collins 😢
And of course he knew it 😏
Joan and her awful wigs 😂 and believe it or not, when she reveals her real hair at the end it is one of the only times you see her real hair on tv
She & the Gabor Sisters..there were more Hollywood wigs in magazine ads too named after stars of that era too. 😅
@ yes!
Lol😅
