I was at school and loved the Anglia "knight" statue that preceded an Anglia programme and the excerpt from Handel's "Water Music!" They showed the Knight but the time was missing. Perhaps you missed it too! Regards Geoff
@@geoffreymawdsley8102 I know the musical bit you're referring to but I didn't know the name of it. It's funny because I'm not even British, born and raised in Boston MA, but British tv gives me a weird nostalgia
hannah gordon 83 and still acting in the latest series unforgotten wow never new she could act she was always in a drama first seen by me in the elaphant man 1980
i was born in 1980. i always thought of him as super old man, but at my age i see a total badass. it may be the trench coat and hat, but i dont really think so...
''he brought the whole thing on himself by writing the stupid note'' not that he did something horrific, its not over im only half way thru, but i figured it out during part 1. im sure we all have
These are a Who's Who of UK television actors of the day. An incredible treat
I am a Brit but i havent heard of this series before. I was only 3 when it was first shown. Love the theme tune. John Barry was a genius.
I remember itvas a kid of 11 or 12. The theme was brilliant. Ibremember there wre spoofs of Welles all over the telly at the time.
Bill Maynard will always be “magic” to me. This series had an amazing number of great actors. An expat in Florida.
A great argument for coming in late to work.
and for not trusting cops
Fascinating integrant story. Love the tired no nonsense Bill Maynard character. Thank you for uploading 👍
I dont know why but i get immediately interested when i see the Anglia TV thing. Weird.

Bill Maynard and Hannah Gordon - the rough and the smooth.
Both continued on as well utilised actors in the 'biz' for years afterwards.
Love John Barry intro music too
@@VintageVerbiage-s5n Listen to the Ipcress File theme tune It is simply the best spy film music bar none That's John Barry too 💫🪩⭐😎💥🤯🌎

Hannah was gorgeous!
Always had a crush on Hannah Gordon 😍😍😍
I love Orson Welles in the movie Jane Eyer.

@braydensmith-cq1kt Oh 😄
I didn't know Claude Greengrass was a police detective too?!? What a old rouge!
Wish we didn't have to watch and hear Orso. Welles talk with his mouth full at the beginnings of these.
You don’t🥸
