Justin,My advice to You,bye a drill sharpener from Harbor Freight or Amazon and when it gets hard to drill sharpen it.Word to the wise,after you sharpen the drill bit don’t touch it.I know from experience! Had a blister for a couple days and then it was tender for about a week or a little more because “You” can’t help hitting it almost whenever You move ! 😎
Justin, the K100 is coming along nicely, slow and steady wins the race 💪👍🤘. I had a banana split this afternoon and seeing those ice cream 🍦🍨 makes me want one. Luckily town is 10 miles away so, nope 😕😔 I'll stay 🏠. All of y'all are getting nice and tanned. That HUGE BURRITO 🌯 was definitely not from your usual "Authentic Mexican" food stop 🤣🤣🤣. YUM 😋🤤. You should switch out the single cylinder compressor for a two cylinder compressor since they are much quieter. The single cylinder compressors are supposed to be timed to the engine unlike the two cylinder compressors.
The alternator is a Delco Remy and it should be similar to part number 1117227.

Justin Great Video as usual, thank for showing the finer details of fixing the K 100 and also enjoyed seeing your beautiful family. Don't forget that low air warning buzzer and light should cut off at 75psi( when building air pressure). My buddy had a aerodyne like yours and I loved it. That tractor pulled 80k like the trailer was empty, Great Truck. God Bless.

We actually use an alternator that big on our 1994 F-250. If we don't then the truck will completely shut down. When we are plowing in the winter. Yes the plows and the lights take up that much power.

Since the K100 has the winter parking button ( release tractor maxi brakes and applies trailer brakes for parking in winter, easier to defrost trailer brakes then the tractor’s) I am really surprised that there isn’t more rust

Justin with all those new valves needed I'm sure you are going to use a heck of a lot of air tubing. Not to mention the zip ties and mounting brackets. You know what is important to successful DOT inspections.😂 The K100 is coming along, and looking good. How many more vents do you need? 😮

Non trucker here. Would someone please explain the reason for stretching the bed of a cab over? I thought the idea of the cab over was to shorten the turn radius. Stretching seems counter intuitive to me. I am in my very late 70s and my trucking younger brother has passed on. Really enjoy this channel.

@@JustTruckin If I were you and you have to actually buy a new alternator... I would look and get one of those fancy Remanufactured Ultra High amp alternators like in the 400 Amp range maybe two of them.. Install Lifep04 batteries and a Solark 8kw inverter charge controller hybrid so you could plug into shore power if you wanted and that way you can run AC power in your rig with out a Green APU.. Of course if you do get a Green apu later on down the road you could have the Solark call for charging and run power to then maintain your system once the battery bank drops. This does two things it decreases your diesel fuel cost while parked and will allow you to get an AC heating pump or Air-conditioned. Also by tieing the system into your truck you can then charge the batteries while your driving down the road again taking the load off Diesel usage. Idk just my thoughts on it..
Update both people are seriously bruised from the SUV running them over.. Driver is facing serious charge's and they have no bond and was attacked in the cell with other inmate's. And he was on probation and the judge is sending him to prison for parole violation cause he was not supposed to be driving. We are in Missouri making excellent time. Customer's was like did u guy's sleep. And i said we take turn's driving and we can lean the passenger side seat back. And Jesse slept for like 7 hour's while i drove. We wear ear bud's so we can ZZZZ. We will get a hotel when we get to Wisconsin. Justin and Justina came from camping and got Grandma and she's camping with them. a friend across from our house is watching the grandkid's.

Jesse does not like drilling rivets. One of the employees does a dam good job doing rivets. We got our seats today for our cabover they came oit amazing. Me and Jesse are going to be taking a Hotshot Load up to Wisconsin. Amd deliver the cargo there. Our team Hotshot Driver's (Husband and Wife had to make a emergency trip to a location due to there family member it's not good. Stupid people texting while driving and going over the shoulder and injuring 2 people. We got them a plane ticket and Jesse had Nathan take tuem to Dallas airport. They arrived at the location and thanked me and Jesse and Nathan. Jesse called one of them amd daid they eill still het paid for the load amd we are going to be taking it. We are going to be taking our Duramax Crew Cab. Nana's staying with the grandkids (Oldest son's kid's) all the kid's are camping with there friend's. Jesse's making sure we have the gas card for work. Nana and Gigi went to a store and got Jesse and me 1 liter soda's.
