Fantastic pond Tim love it, you're right about the finish too, no point not being happy then redoing work later on. Thanks again for sharing, looking forward to the finished article. 👏
Very nice. The deck above the filters will be great viewing also. Going to be stunning when complete. 👍🏻👍🏻. Those are good looking fish. Well done to all involved.
This is unreal tim must be such a pleasure to work on and with these ponds. My dream to have a pond like this. Really nice keep the videos coming. AND MIGHT I ADD that your koi food in just over a week has made a huge difference to my fish they seem alot healthier and love it 😀
Love the pond! Really enjoy your channel and content you put out. Can’t wait to have a pond of my own. I keep aquariums and if you add bacteria before fish you have to throw just a little bit of food in to break down for the bacteria to consume. Imagine it’s the same for a pond but your method is sound for sure. Thanks for all your hard work!
Do you normally always use solid blocks rather than hollow and then filled with concrete? Looking to build a 2500 gallon pond and was recommended hollow blocks, but would save a lot of money solids are just as good. Lovely koi and pond by the way!
I work for a glass company and we built an all glass vestibule that sticks out of the building. We now have a monthly occurrence of birds flying into the glass. You should expect dead birds in your pond with that tall glass wall.
I don’t want to get too tech, will see how it goes. If I just take my phone I can just do them, if I have to take other equipment I’ll just forget anyway and won’t be bothered about doing them
What I was asking was, I’m sure a 4” drain can only do a certain area/radius until it becomes to large of a area for that one drain. Hence why people have multiple drains. I would of thought a pond of this scale would have more than the two drains? But that’s me just guessing, hence why I asked ..
I have seen the glass to act a sound barrier before. Good idea to not lose the view of the pasture. Very nice setup overall.
Keep us up to date with this pond, it’s going to be fantastic, lovely setup. 👌
Stunning looking pond and another great video thanks for sharing 👍

How do you work out how many litres/gallons are in a pond. I’m looking at building one in my garden that’s 180cm x 108cm with a height of 60cm
nice pond

Noted 👍
I’d love to no the cost off these ponds love your videos
This is an incredible pond Tim. Please what are the dimensions of this pond ?
Lovely pond. Bet it’s had a few dead birds in there though from flying into the glass
Is that Tim or Jonny Vegas 😂. Great house and pond.
Can’t wait to see your videos!
Hi Tim can you tell me if there is a reason all these large ponds don't have any features in them, ie rocks and plants, cheers
They are dedicated Koi ponds mate.
A stunning pond and great setup, very impressive. Do is a favour Tim and get a dead cat for your camera microphone, that wind spoiled the video.
I don’t want to get too tech, will see how it goes. If I just take my phone I can just do them, if I have to take other equipment I’ll just forget anyway and won’t be bothered about doing them
Lovely! Just a shame it’s never warm and sunny in the NorthWest...🤣
Awful at the moment!
Hi we are planning to build a 19x8 and 5 feet deep pond. How thick should our fiber glass be?
Its 3ft above ground by the way. Great videos
What is the plan for cladding the wall (near blade) now it’s full. Surely they should have done that before adding fish.
Why? It just screws on
Quality Nishikigoi
Oh, so the cladding is screwed on. That makes sense. I was thinking it was put on in a similar fashion to tiles.
Where can I order the glass from?
Why put washing up liquid in the filters
Beautiful set up 👌 there's going to be a day when you go to film in the pond and drop your phone or have you already done that lol
Haha not yet, thankfully it’s water proof.
Heaven.
Really nice job ... are you selling that piece of glass that have been replaced ? :)
I thought this would of had more than two bottom drains, what’s the pull on a single bottom drain area wise anyone know ?
What does the pull matter? The filtration will dictate the flow.
What I was asking was, I’m sure a 4” drain can only do a certain area/radius until it becomes to large of a area for that one drain. Hence why people have multiple drains. I would of thought a pond of this scale would have more than the two drains? But that’s me just guessing, hence why I asked ..
Hi Tim, amazing pond congrats! What sort of total cost are you looking at for something like this? Cheers :)
I don’t know mate, we supplied the equipment and fibreglassing only.
Windy place!
Surely you've had your hair cut now and cam lose the cap?
I have indeed! No head wear since Sunday!!
Where’s part 2? Lol
I linked it in the video
