    Very impressed with the build well done , it looks a professional job and well planned. I built mine last july almost identical to this one at just under 3000 gal with a nexus 220 and a bakki shower on skimmer return with window at front. I noticed they have used 90 degree bends on the return pipes around the outside of the block like I did, I was told later that I should have used swept 90 degree bends to prevent flow loss. I cant say I have noticed any difference to be honest and the water clarity with the nexus is crystal.

    Lovely job but really missed on a satisfying look of the pond from the shed or cabin at the back. My plan would have been - move the pond to join on to the cabin and make it part of the cabin have a window inside to see the fish from inside move the tank to the right and waterfall and access from the right side. Then you could in joy the pond from everywhere without looking at the filter box etc. But nice job 👍

    Hi, I'm building a pond at the moment, exactly the same as this layout wise, but only 1100 gallons. I was going with the 10000l vari pump but told to avoid because of reliability issues and to go with the supafish 10,000. Whats your thoughts on this. I will have an easy pod with a 3" bottom drain. The skimmer looks good, is this something you sell as I cant see it on your web site. Cheers.
    If mine looks half as good as this I'd be happy.

    • @TimWaddington
      @TimWaddington  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never had an issue really with the Varipumps, yes I’ve had a couple come back but the % we sell it’s nothing.

      @@TimWaddington Tim, are these skimmers custom made to speck, or do they just come in one size? Going to build my pond against my existing garage wall so would need to go through pond block and garage wall as filter setup is going inside.

      @@TimWaddington Best to get it out of the way. Excellent job. I like the future - proofing. Clearly, the cost of the valves will save on the heartache in the future. I have just spent £750 on a new shed to house filters and ancillary for my new build 2021. My plans are now up in the air due to a video on reverse osmosis. do you have an opinion on it's value to keeping healthy Koi?
