Good job!! One thing though. Don't forget to add pontoon drain plugs to bottom rear of each pontoon. They do take on water and tipping boat forward to drain from factory front pontoon drain plugs with all that weight will be impossible. Just a suggestion.
I can tell by looking at your rig, no way will you be tipping that straight up draining water from pontoons. Too heavy. Ya ain't that strong pal. Just trying to help. I've had mine a year now. I know what I'm saying.
always checking out mods for the Bass Raider 10e, just acquired my pops 10e after he passed, so now I have 2, need to restore it and continue with some more mods
Definitely awesome Wes!!! A fishing machine that can get you out on any body of water. I have a pond prowler but it's just plan Jane lol other than my fishfinder, trolling motor and upgraded seat for comfort. Everything is removable since it's stored outside. Keep doing what your doing bro and if you get a chance stop by the my channel
Nice job on your mods....Question...Do you leave your Mercury on the boat when trailering? If so, do you find a need for a transom saver? I just bought a 3.5 Merc for my bass raider which i haul w/ a utility trailer but now a little concerned with trailering w/ the motor.
Can't wait for some video of you out on that bad boy! Does the JBL speaker sound good? Is there a certain spec for the outboard that I need to know about? Length or? I've never bought an outboard. lol
I am on the verge of getting this same set up minus the mods and the 5 Horse Power. Just the 3.5. DId you ever make a follow up video on the trailer. How did that work out. I looked but did not see a video. Please let us know the pros and cons of that trailer. Looks pretty cool at their website. Does it fit well being on 8 feet. ? Also I've been asking people. Have you taken you ship on the river. I only go on the river for the most part.
trying to decide on the hp motor i want for my 10E and transom flex kinda bothers me..is there a possibility of you posting the dimensions of your motor support??

Until someone posts a video on simular water with stock and then with 5hp carb set up with gps speed showing......it definitely doesnt make a difference. I havent seen a comparison video that showed anything more than a flicker of 1mph more and thats not worth an extra 270? Cheers tho love the boat. Nice work.

Pelican could have easily made the transom much stronger. My 65 pound thrust flexes that transom.

My first time as well. No spec that I know of. The JBL is awesome! I use that thing all over the place.
