I have the troll king also, but my trolling motor keeps sliding off the front transom. Any idea's how to fix that? would love your insight.

It's just a cup. I bought my cup for $1 at a swapmeet anf keeps my drinks hot/cold. No leaks. Droppable and never cracks

I think sometimes that people forget these are small plastic boats and have weight limits and limits on the stress these hulls really are designed to withstand. Some of the biggest advantages of these boats are they are inexpensive, lightweight, draft very little water so are excellent for getting into really skinny water and are very stable for as small as they are. Not to mention they are fairly easy to load and unload in and out of the water and transport. Many of the mods people make to these boats trying to turn them into a fully decked out bass boat eliminates the very things that make them such attractive options while at the same time raise the center of gravity and make them much less stable. These boats in my opinion left in a more as they come state of operation are where they shine. Sure add a more comfortable seat to the factory framework, for flooring some lightweight anti fatigue mats from somewhere like Harbor Freight can be an improvement add your propulsion of choice and a depth finder and take the little plastic boat out and enjoy it for what it is.

Until someone posts a video on simular water with stock and then with 5hp carb set up with gps speed showing......it definitely doesnt make a difference. I havent seen a comparison video that showed anything more than a flicker of 1mph more and thats not worth an extra 270? Cheers tho love the boat. Nice work.

What about using it as freezer? I always set temperature at -18 Celsius degrees. How long will it last?

Love the mods, giving me ideas. I noticed several people running their fishfinder with a separate battery like you are doing. I'm running the trolling motor and fishfinder from the same battery. As a bonus the fishfinder displays the voltage so I know what level the trolling motor battery is at.

HEY MAN!!! I have been watching a lot of these videos and I know of Max's build. Im going to be buying a Bass Raider myself eventually and modding it out. I agree with you it prob needs a piece of wood up against the outside for the outboard motor and better stability. You said to message you if we had thought of any extra builds/mods to add and there is one I would really like to see played out from this/Max's build. You could build "lockers" on either side of the boat by raising the level a few inches above the rods and having it swing outwards, the lockers themselves would allow you more room to stand on the sides, essentially allowing you to walk all the way around the boat while fishing/casting. there is another video on youtube with a different boat but similar build titled "Best 2 Man Bass Boat?!" If you raise those lockers a couple inches from the front casting dock it would work perfectly, I would love to see it! ❤

This is my absolute favorite cup too!

I bought a Walmart brand thermos for $8. Has the same type of lid, and keeps drinks hot for 10 hours and cold for 24 hours. Yeti is so overpriced it's not even funny.

Pelican could have easily made the transom much stronger. My 65 pound thrust flexes that transom.

I got the 14 oz mug a couple of weeks ago and it became my favorite mug on first use lol, every bit worth the price point

I have a deck on the front of mine…I’m 6’0 but I don’t have a pedestal seat on the deck, would be too much I think…I tend to fish standing and if I get tired after a few hours I just sit in the seat in the back. Maybe your deck was too long. I tried also with out the deck and I just don’t like fishing sitting down…plus tough to have a good stance standing on the main floor of this boat it’s too narrow. Good video bro, if we all liked the same things this would be a dull world 😂

Yo, just found this video while cruising TH-cam. Gotta share my love of this as I’ve had this Husky Lunch box now for 6 years, and agree fully. It’s a long-lasting, expertly designed piece of equipment. FYI Stanley’s 20oz trigger action travel mug and a 20 Oz Classic Legendary Thermos fit the elastic drink compartments on each side unbelievable well. (Both are around 3.1” in diameter.). The loops in the front are for a roundish-shaped Husky Brand Tool/accessory bag that attaches and rests atop the front pocket perfect. 👌 hope this helps you maximize your use! I’m a follower now!
