Yo I want to thank you for not gatekeeping your wealth of knowledge. I been looking at your vids and I think you are the best data science content creator on youtube. Keep up the good work.
Currently pursuing bachelor in European Law School at university (in The Netherlands). Considering whether to continue with a master in law like cybersecurity/privacy or AI law, or to continue with a master in data science (and society) - governance or business track (get ml courses and R and python and SQL (beginner, tho is this enough skillset), any ideas/opinion? I’m mainly worried about the complete lack of mathematics and coding experience and wondering whether it would be worth career wise to follow the road to data scientist, also because I heard you talk about how there is lots of competition (with technical backgrounds and advantages etc.) and also with the increasing role of AI etc. I like your videos and keep up the good work! Inspiring, no matter the field.
Thank you! Hard question to answer as they are quite different paths. I think the law side is very interesting and new, so a lot of new ground to be explored. I wouldn’t worry necessarily your background more what you enjoy more. Both areas are good careers, so I would go with what you think is best long term for you. Hope this helps :)
Hey Egor! I am currently in junior year of college pursuing a degree for CS and I’m am currently studying statistics and probability then moving on to the other steps of the roadmap. But I wanted to know if you ever studied data structures and algorithms in your time beginning as a data scientist. Things such as graphs, trees, binary search, priority queue?
Hey, good question! I haven’t formally done a course on it and from my knowledge not many DS courses cover them. I haven’t learned a few of the concepts throughout my career, but I do plan on doing a full course soon! Hope this helps :)
hi bro I am really hardworking for this area I want to communicate with you maybe I can do some work for you getting experience and also focusing only salient topics

Your videos are really insightful mate! Keep ‘em coming! 👏🏽👏🏽
Glad you are liking them!
Thank you for this man. I am currently working on making a career change from web development to data science.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Sir Egor!
This will really change my mind
Glad you liked it!
Thank you Egor
No problem!
Very useful tips 😀
Will implement
Thank you!!
Thank you !
You're welcome!

Hey, I currently don’t have capacity for this, but I appreciate you reaching out :)
@@egorhowell thanks for response. for the first job I know all fundamental except MLE which way likely opens first jobs door. what is your opinion
If you know your fundamental then you are in a good position to land your first job!
