I'd like to see some form of "best bits" montage to celebrate everything you've done over the last 2 years or so. Everything from day 1, the spicy rumours, the reveal and your reaction, the anticipation we have now, and finally the release day. I think it would be a nice way to tie it all together. Not many people are so dedicated to something like this
I actually liked equip load being tied to strength, its a bit of a shame that they changed it. It would have made builds more interesting instead of just everyone wearing heavy armor.

I actually don't like that they changed the equipment weight now requiring endurance instead of strength. now everyone will wear heavy armor and big weapons because every build imaginable will need endurance. why wear light armor now if you're just going to level up endurance anyway for more stamina, which will naturally let you mid roll with heavy armor?
Makes more sense because it benefits all instead of just strength users. Also it's another benefit and reason to level up endurance because everyone needs health.
Im genuinely disappointed regarding the swap from strength upgrading equip weight to endurance. It would've been a lovely way to balance strength weapons with faster dex ones in that strength users would have higher poise, but now I guess itll be ds1 full havels with fast curved swords all over again...
THANK YOU. This was imo the most disappointing change ever, there was finally going to be armor and build diversity but they had to axe it at the last moment. Now everyone's going to be wearing the same few armor sets, even mages. The class fantasy is going to be destroyed in the endgame

Carry weight being tied to endurance again is the most disappointing thing I've heard so far. Carry weight shouldn't be a universal stat, because dex and magic builds don't need to be wearing heavier armor than strength characters. If they want to wear heavier armor, they can invest in some strength as a bonus stat.

Is it really confirmed that equip load is tied to endurance now, or is this still based on that one italian article? Personally I think this is a terrible change that will impact pvp very negatively. It's a nerf to str builds who really needed that kind of buff, and it reduces potential build variety by making endurance too valuable of a stat to not invest into. Everyone will have high endurance, everyone will have the biggest armor with the biggest poise.
I agree with you on the endurance change, but I disagree with you saying strength needs a buff. It's powerful as it is. If anything needs a buff, it's dex.
@@soul-1641 Stagger isn't tied to strength though, it's tied to damage I'm pretty sure. Enemies typically stagger when they've received enough damage, which Dex weapons are very capable of.

i think im feeling pretty confident in Vagabond for my starting class. going straight for the flail and greataxe and aiming for a strength build. unfortunate that equip load was moved to stamina i was really looking forward to heavy armor being a strength build thing. i guess im going ham on the endurance early game. i usually do that anyways, but im still going to work into a strength build later on.

Those background "origins" sound like your regular character presets from DS1/3, like Dragon Scholar or Irithyllian Shadow of Death (or something like that, can't remember the names right now).
I feel they should have kept equipment load tied to strength (EDIT: rather than Endurance/Stamina). It makes more sense, and IMO would have led to better balance in character builds, especially for PVP

Being able to rename my character seems like a small thing, but honestly, it's the best change they could have added to customization. I eventually want to do niche builds but being able to change name and appearance to do it seems so much better than restarting a new file.

Obviously since they're a game company they would most likely focus on attention and keeping the momentum as far and as high as possible. A simple youtuber cannot do that alone.
