We've put around one year of work into renovating the property in Argentina, but what do we actually have to show for it?
In today's video, I thought it would be nice to take a little trip down memory lane and look at all the different jobs that have been completed across the property so far. This includes landscaping, house renovations and some tasks on the hotel.
I dug up some of our old footage on the hard drives, and honestly, I'm pretty impressed with the progress that has been made! It's so easy to forget what this place looked like when we first started. I mean, most of the constructions were inaccessible!
So before we dive into this next big push with the renovations and completing the house, here's a one year recap.

Los árboles y las plantas cumplieron la misión de cuidar la propiedad. Imagino que, al estar oculta, evitaron que fuera invadida y ocupada por otras personas. Felicitaciones por la obra, será un muy lindo hotel que espero conocer algún día!
Una cosa es un parque arbolado y otra es un monte imposible de pasar y que no cumple ninguna función, que además, es peligroso porque se puede incendiar muy fácilmente
Controlando la arboleda se puede aprovechar el espacio y prevenir desastres.

En cuánto tengan su casita terminada; todo será más fácil. Y estando en argentina al hotel lo pintan, limpian y habiliten las piezas que ya están. Lo que vale es la zona; es aire de ese lugar; con el tiempo le van a dar más confort a todo. El hotel para verano es increible, luego lo calefaccionan con tiempo. LA ESTRUCTURA ESTÁ IMPECABLE.

Lo veo lleno de turistas europeos, interactuando con los de argentina. Como pasa en los hostel de la patagonia. Insisto. Lo peor ya pasó
Quite the accomplishment. Sweat equity is something you will always remember and appreciate. Keep going it is really starting to look like a Hotel. Cutting more trees away from the property will eliminate the bugs and rodents and bring more valuable Sun to warm up the space.

I also remember when you guys had problems with people who did not do their job, especially the ceramic floor disaster. You came through in spite of that and are getting close to the finish line. A really great job. BTW are there places where you can get decent 2nd hand furniture, plates, glasses and other household stuff ???

@@emienrbustos8412Hombre, por toda mi vida he comprado nuestros muebles y otras cosas de hogar, como películas, discos de vinilo, ropa, etc de rastros y tiendas de segunda mano. Alta calidad a precios baratos y mejor que IKEA. Ademas eso era una pregunta para Sam y Audrey.

Amo que digan las cosas como son. No es ser pesimista, es decir lo bueno y lo malo. Los argentinos tenemos esa mentalidad, que ea difícil modificar y mejorar pero con voluntad se puede. Hacer una obra acá es muy pero muy difícil no solo por los costos de los materiales y la mano de obra sino x lo difícil que es encontrar personal que quiera trabajar, se manera seria, continua y honesta.

Yo estoy haciendo un trabajo similar en mi propiedad, desmalezando, quitando árboles pequeños, troncos que caen por las tormentas, quemando lo que sobra y guardando los troncos que sirven para leña. Todo con la ayuda de caballos que se comen el pasto y la maleza que llegaba a la altura de una persona. Lo hago yo solo y con mis propias manos porque no tengo el presupuesto para contratar personal

There are lots of different internet options - it's something we've been researching lately! Starlink just arrived, so that's a big one to consider. I also know a few people who have antennas and buy chips from a local company like Claro or Personal, where you can pay for data as you go. There are also local internet providers though you need a clear line of sight to their antennas.

Excelente trabajo de renovacion del hote y la casa l!!! Si tienen en la propiedad arboles frutales viejos se le puede hacer una poda de rejuvenecimiento, para que recuperen vigor, y si no, pueden cortar ramas de los frutales y en un vivero se las pueden injertar de nuevo en arboles jovenes ya que pueden ser variedades de peras y manzanas que ya no se cultivan comercialmente pero que quizas son muy ricas.

Hola chico, es una lástima que no sigan haciendo los videos en castellano como lo venían haciendo, ya que lo vemos desde Argentina desde el comienzo, se dificulta mucho mirar el video y leer por lo menos para los que hablamos el castellano / español. Un abrazo, muy lindo todo lo que muestran y Daniel es un capo en todo.

I got a question : how do you find the current Argentinian economy ? does it affect your overall budget for the projects?
It's not as cheap as it was last year, but back then inflation was crazy high and the blue dollar was a rocket shooting for the moon. That was not sustainable! Things are a bit more expensive now, but inflation is coming down and everyone is hopeful the country will get the economic reform it so desperately needs.
