Please add the "Version A" to the title: This is the "Laowa C-Dreamer 7,5 mm F2 A" . The "Version A" is the one with electronic transfer of apperture to the cam and has 5 instead of 7 aperture blades. MSRP is slightly higher than the old version.

What a wonderful review, and a wonderful lens. And the fact that someone (a photographer) is actually not put off by the lack of auto-focus... is a breath of fresh air. Precisely! Thank you.

Another advantage of EXIF data is worth mentioning: the ibis needs to know about the focal length, otherwise it fights you. For some time Ihad more than one manual lens and always needed to check for the correct settings in the camera, which was a Bit annoying.

The Laowa 7.5mm and 10mm are chipped, and also specically made for M43. I hope they will add the chip to all other lenses.

I love your instructional videos but I would appreciate if you say at the beginning of a lens review which Lumix body you are using. Also if you have a detailed description of how to set up camera menus that you list them in your review. I'd like to see it elucidated in your description. It's difficult to go back and scroll through a video to find the settings. For this particular video I have no idea which Lumix camera you are using.

I feel bad that I missed this one. One tends to think about the next lens acquisition, almost as a psychological hobby, often, when there is a barrier to some shot you like, or cannot get with the stuff in your bag. Your point is well taken, moreover, that you tend to make expensive decisions on whether you have something else the that suits possibly well-enough. So, no I haven't, and yes this lens looks like the next need-filler. Thank you for the well-thought review.
