40:37 Wooooooooow, this run totally blew me away! The skips I discovered involved jumping off the first two speed booster paths at the right time, then thokking towards the way forward. The skips you showcased are more or less evolutions of what I had mapped out. Not only that, but you also managed to clear the outer wall using a strat I never even thought of! That's the point where I usually tend to reset my runs, besides the last section with the springs. Splendidly done, Dipper!

Here's a real challenge: Quandary Canyon Zone from Apologue as Amy It is possible, though it requires a very quirky strategy. P.S. Here's some hints if you need them: #1 badnik bounces don't let you gain height, just conserve it. #2 avoid speed loss from friction #3 just jump before you hit the booster. Don't ask me why, but it works. P.P.S If you ever get another Fang request (which admittedly isn't very likely unless it's from me again) you can perform a cork-jump by pressing spin and jump on the same frame. You'll still fire a cork, but you'll also jump, letting you skip the miserably slow firing animation. I use a spinjump bind to make things easier. Amy also has a similar tech, though it's less useful.
Got an interesting one, try to speedrun the hardest level you can think of as base X Sonic! If you don't think you can do that, then the funnest level as him :D

Here's another idea for ya, the entirety of arid canyon as Metal anyone, but you race metal in act 1 & 2 & fight him in act 3 using the versus metal mode & have the shields be replaced by 6 random shields that aren't in the vanilla game with shields+

Hey, just so you know: you used the wrong character for the Follow Your Rainbow one. I can see why you'd be confused, though: Maimy is pretty mint-coloured, and kind of an "Amy-droid". However, Mint is in fact a separate character.

i've seen your flying sonic speedruns, and i just wanted to tell you and everybody else about a secret that some people may not know about him: he can complete every level (including bosses) just by using the taunt button (CUSTOM 3).
@@DipperDeliver it's random as to when the taunt button will complete the level, so it's not efficient, BUT... spamming it will still most likely get you at least a 1 second record for stages although it's way funnier to just see sonic flying to the end rather than taking the easy way out
These were pretty impressive! Though it rubs me the wrong way how _AMY_ is your least favorite character when Fang is literally *RIGHT THERE.* 😡 If you're up 2 it, try go beat the Metal Sonic Invasion from EW5 with Dark Sonic, just to see how he decimates them 😈

These multi-hour long speedrunning videos are some of the only srb2 youtube content I genuinely love (it doesn't feel clout chasey like a lot of other stuff I come across, "SONIC ADVENTURE BUT ITS RECREATED IN SRB2???" type shit). Honestly, you have an amazing format for community showcase here, for characters AND maps.

Hey, just so you know: you used the wrong character for the Follow Your Rainbow one. I can see why you'd be confused, though: Maimy is pretty mint-coloured, and kind of an "Amy-droid". However, Mint is in fact a separate character.

i've seen your flying sonic speedruns, and i just wanted to tell you and everybody else about a secret that some people may not know about him:
he can complete every level (including bosses) just by using the taunt button (CUSTOM 3).

@@DipperDeliver it's random as to when the taunt button will complete the level, so it's not efficient, BUT...
spamming it will still most likely get you at least a 1 second record for stages
although it's way funnier to just see sonic flying to the end rather than taking the easy way out

These multi-hour long speedrunning videos are some of the only srb2 youtube content I genuinely love (it doesn't feel clout chasey like a lot of other stuff I come across, "SONIC ADVENTURE BUT ITS RECREATED IN SRB2???" type shit). Honestly, you have an amazing format for community showcase here, for characters AND maps.

Oh, You need all the emeralds and fake emeralds. open up the X settings, and there's should be an option call super record mode or something, and you can switch it up from there.
