If the issue came from a Filipino, well that's normal we use to it.. but if a foreigner talks about Filipino Political Affairs, then you better watch out. Filipinos become so sensitive to biased opinions so be careful. Tip: If you are a foreigner talking about Pinoy political matters, be neutral and objective. Thank you for the video. Don't worry you know what you are doing, you're nice and have respect for us Pinoy.

My husband is creative. It is innate. He likes being creative with our skits and the videos he releases on his channel. Hence the background music and the effects he used.
He likes to put an effort in making his videos. It would be very easy for him to just sit, hit the record button, and talk but it isn’t like him to do that. He likes to put an effort in everything that he does. You two may not have the same taste in how you do your videos but I just want to say that those things are not just after thoughts. Hi Ovela. Two points I'd like to say, if i may.
    1. I'm not a lawyer, but i don't think that what project nightfall did falls against this law that you mentioned. In its most basic form, he was simply providing his opinion on the topic. The problem, and this is probably why a lot of filipinos did not like what he did, is that he did not do a lot of research (or if he even did any). What do i mean? The whole "history" relating to the Marcos family is still such a convoluted mess of differing claims, truths, propaganda, lies, etc. Even the current "version" written in our history books describing the Marcos era is still being questioned by history scholars and other learned people for its gross biased against the said family. The 31 milion+ votes that BBM got is somewhat a confirmation that a big part of the filipinos does not completely agree with the prevailing history. As such, nightfall's narration/commentaries was so shallow and tactless that it was apparent that he simply was echoing the said prevailing history -- which again, is primarily anti-Marcos. There was not enough "attempt" on his part to present the other side of the story.
    2. As a general idea (i think), it is not advisable for foreigners -- whether in or out of philippine soil --- to "comment" (and especially meddle) in philippine affairs. It is not to demean, belittle or discriminate in any way the foreigner. It's simply that, as an outsider a foreigner's viewpoint (or vantage point) of philippine culture -- including its politics, is very limited. I mean, if even we filipinos ourselves cannot agree on how to accurately narrate, or remember the Marcos history, how much more difficult (almost impossible) would it be for an "outsider" to do the same. If I, for example, comment on the seeming discrimination against blacks, and/or against asians in america -- by normal everyday americans, with only videos from youtube, and news channels on cable as my basis, I would most probably still be wrong and unfair. I may try to be as respectful as i can be about my views, but in the end, those views may still be incorrect.

to add on your number two:
foreigners that have their filipino nationality has no rights to involve in filipino politics as well. why? because they are not born and raised since FEM SR. became the president to say that he is a dictator etc.... Only if a foreigner's child was born and grew up here and has the knowledge about the history of the Philippines and about FEM SR. maybe then he/she can be involve with it. But the best thing to do for you and other foreigners is not to get involve with Philippine politics. I'm not a lawyer either but this is my opinion only.

hahaha. yes ovela, foreigners living in or visiting the philippines doesnt have the right to express their opinion on political and internal matters/issues of the Philippines. hehehehe. the rationale behind it is that (1) only Filipino citizens have the right to express their opinion to their own government because it is their government; (2) since foreigners are received by the state as guests, they don't have the right to express their opinion about the host country esp regarding internal and political matters in which issues that directly concern the citizens are best left to the will of the filipino people alone.

Venezuela? Switzerland? Germany? All those places are also countries, just like the Philippines, with their own laws that protect its citizenry and their sovereignty over their land. If you can understand the same law banning foreigners from participating in anti-government movements in those countries, I don't see why anyone could not see it fair in the Philippines. Leftist globalists often shout to the high heavens about the law being unfair, but will totally respect the same law in their own country. I hope they try that in China or in Japan where they could get arrested faster than they could pull out their VISA

It is the same in any country, but more with Asian countries especially South East not only the Philippines. We can speak our opinions but in a respectful way. I think it is the same in any country with nationalistic pride. Sharing opinion privately without actively participating or provoking is okay. The foreigner can get contadicting or agreeing opinions as well, but for me, I would step back if it's getting heated up. The Philippines is a democratic country, some say ridiculously democratic that filipinos can scream, rally or even file court cases left and right. And most are understanding of outsider's opinions as long as they do not feel being discriminated or provoked. It is the same with other countries as well. Prudence is a virtue anywhere.
But if Ovela is coming over to the Philippines, please be ready to be asked for selfies, invited to several meals and outings and karaoke parties. You can also refuse but do it in gentle way. Also we tend not to directly say No but give excuses or white lies in refusing. Well for food, unless it is against your health or religion, you can take a bite or two and plead really full if you are not hungry or kind of don't like the taste. Also we can be touchy, so some may wish to hug you. But don't invite the hug first 😂😂😂😂 except when meeting for the second or third time, then Just stand with open arms.

I'm just glad Ovela, despite his numerous contents on Ph Politics, he always knew what his actual goals are. He never picked a side, he stayed neutral and kept doing his thing -reaction videos.
You see, Project Nightfall might not have thought that if they try to voice out 14 Million Filipinos, they automatically disrespect 31 Million. And given how seemingly biased it turned out, people began to think he is part of the 'Yellow Propaganda', which makes it worse for him and his organization since Yellowtards or Dilawans are becoming popularly known as The Real Traitors of this Country.
After unedited raw pro-marcos videos began circulating online, People began to realize many things were not written or equally emphasized in History Books. Most of the available books would always say the same thing ('Dictator') as if publishers want you to learn that...and only that.

Naturalized Filipinos are Foreigners that went through the legal process of changing their nationality/citizenship to Filipino.
As soon as they are naturalized, they will have the same privilege as a Filipino under the law.
They can work, study, employ, marry as a Filipino and not a foreigner needing visa and other paper works for foreigners. They can vote in elections and show support for their candidate like campaigning etc. They can even run and hold office in the local government. However they cannot run for positions in the House of Representatives up to the president as the law requires a natural-born citizen.

It's very common to youtuber to have a collab with their fellow content creator and it's an opportunity to them to have a collab to a must known youtuber. I believe Dwayne having a 1 million subs is it because of his hardwork. I also observe during the pandemic youtubers gain more subscribers since people spending time at home and some of them watching youtube to get through the pandemic.

Ofcourse, no one from the police department will bother you as this is just reaction contents. The reason why some Filipinos are not happy with his videos is because you can see or feel how one sided his contents are. Especially now that there are lots of disinformation. What filipino wants is balance the content with both side's opinion for this kind of content especially that he doesn't know how politics run starting from the very beginning of Philippine history.

I don't think you will be charged by authorities, you are only expressing your opinions or idea's, you're not attacking the government and it's authorities.
However, if you join rallies, form a group or campaign and insights negative idea's to the mind of Filipino citizens and encouraging them to go against the government and their agencies that's rebellion.
Nevertheless, if you're only having conversations with friends and relatives in a party or over a bottle of beers and having an exchange of ideas that would be okay as long as it's only an "exchange of idea's and opinions and not insightful" that would be Allright 👍.
Thus, hmm... think about "FAMILY". Let's take for an example, you have certain problem with your children's for instance. Every individual have different personalities and characters. Would you allow an outsiders to interfere and make a decision or judgements as for your family concerns or problems?
Yes and No, if the problem needs an SPECIALISTS or PROFESSIONAL advise or intervention but not to insights rebellion or distasteful against the parents. However, it takes a lot of considerations before decisions could be made.
Furthermore, if the family could deal with the problem by themselves they would not consider an outsider to interfere in their life and make it more complicated and worse. 💞🙏☝💖😇

I agree with you Ovela. A lot of filipinos will still take it as a big issue when a Filipino did what Project Nightfall do but not on a large scale as what backlash him. A factor that results to that aside from him being a foreigner is like what you said, how they seem to make their videos. Whatever he said about opinion and all, as a Filipino I can hint the anti Marcos and the leaning to the other candidates favor on that video. Showing the "sea of pink" but never showing how massive the ocean of crowd on BBM just to equal them and add context on how much of people support him to win. Showing police with ballots for minimal seconds without any clear context that would easily made someone make assumptions of irregularities. He said it's his Filipino staffs who did the interview? Maybe he thought the video would be more believable but it only became much more unreliable since there are anti Marcos Filipinos that are fueled by hate and would only make documentaries about the Marcoses one sidedly since the very beginning. And it clearly shows in the video. The thing is Filipinos also have a long history of being backstab by our own fellowmen when it comes to politics and Project Nightfall as well as it's friend Nas Daily seems to be against the Philippine government or at least to PRRD who seems close to BBM. Saying it's made by his Filipino staff won't make it trustworthy. We don't trust Filipinos that is working and paid by foreigners or is under the influence of foreigners when it comes to politics. Those types of people are not for the Philippines but for their own sake. Earliest issue/controversy of it was even dated during the first President of the Philippines time. They even make movies out of it.
What you're doing is just fine and definitely safe if you ever visit the country.
