Just bought a similar meter that reads the light, ph, and moisture level. I've been guilty of over watering and love that I have a more scientific way to check before drowning my plants. 🪴 Love your channel, just subscribed. I'm a novice when it comes to indoor gardening and both me and my plants appreciate your help. Thank you!
@@forevergeralyn oh wonderful! I have overwatered in the past. I can definitely relate. Thank you so much for your kindness and supporting the channel. 🤗💚
I've been seeing these around and always wanted to try!! Definitely had a few plants die in my hands due to overwatering... lol love the tips and very fancy with the pH reading!

EVERYDAY!!! OMG!!!! I use my moisture meter very rarely. I find that when I use it, I hear the roots being ripped/torn/broken. Oh, that sounds makes my skin crawl. I have gotten into a habit of feeling the weight of my plant, looking at the plant to see if it is drooping, use the planta app which as worked for me very well. The moisture meter is a very good product to have for plant parents and for me, when I do use it, I tend to use it more for the plants that are in a 9" pot. Funny though, I have a video airing tomorrow about watering when away with a self watering ball. Thanks for another informative video!
I know right?🤦🏾♀️ Somehow that plant managed to survive the abuse. I noticed that too last year, I kept hearing crunching sounds I thought the probe was too far down into the pot; but then again those plants were pretty root bound also. That sounds great! I'm looking forward to your video! Thank you as always 🤗💚
I’m an overwaterer. I use terra cotta for some plants to help combat that. I also add tons of perlite so it drains better. After killing many I have gotten better and I only have a couple suffering plants this year.
Terracotta is great for the overwaterer. We learn when we kill them right? 🤦🏾♀️. hopefully they will bounce back now that it's spring? Thanks for watching! 💚
Do you prefer to check soil moisture with a moisture meter or with your 👇🏽?
