i bought one mainly because of the screen because im a fan of pico-8 the fantasy console and games for that are 1:1 ratio. vertical arcade games id imagine also would work well on this. mine hasnt arrived but am excited for it. 720 x 720 screen, like thats a lot of pixels and probably why the shaders look so good.
I ordered the Purple B30 a few weeks ago, should be arriving sometime this week. I chose the PowKiddy B30 over the Analogue Pocket, 35XX and Miyoo Mini Plus.
@@DeadByMarcy Yes, the Miyoo is very good! I had one at some point. Gave it to my brother. It was one of my least played handhelds even though it's a top tier handheld. I may repurchase one sometime in the future, especially if the Trimui Smart Brick gets cancelled.
@@classicnut6655 That comment was 5 months ago. A lot has changed since then, The B30 turns out to be no good with a swelling battery issue. I now have a PowKiddy B20SX and it's so much better!
If you want to film screens with reflections, get a polarizer filter for your camera. They are cheap and designed to removed reflections in water but works well on glass. Not 100% but it will help in shots like this video of you playing outdoors.
well yeah n64 games will struggle when you have extra filters on taking up extra processing power, and since its stock settings as you say, its probably using the n64 retroarch core instead of a faster standalone emulator...that being said, doing those things wont guarantee perfect performance in all games, but should improve what its capable of to a degree anyways.
I got this to get into the emulator game and then when I feel more comfortable I intend to upgrade to a more expensive device :> but this fit JUST in my budget
I got here from your Game Boy for a month video, love seeing the handheld sbc reviews, they’re such fun consoles!

Those aren’t even in the same league as the Analogue Pocket. That is the king of FPGA and the screen is the best in any handheld.

Answer: YES. Loving Pico-8 and any 4:3 I just make 8:7 in retroarch settings with integer scaling to fill the screen (very slight cutoff left/right)
Yeah I really need to get pico 8 set up on mine! I’ve seen videos of it running on here and it looks amazing!
This is probably a dumb q but if 4:3 games are played in 8:7 do the elements in the game look bigger? Does the game get zoomed in?

Is this a good SNES unit? I have the Miyoo Mini + but not stoked on the screen size when I'm playing it at home
Hi what game is it in second 11 and 11 it looks amazing?
....I Think It's AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied....Ms Pac Man Arcade Version With Speed Hack Is What Im All The Time Playing .
these are joy con sticks, right? they look like joycons. if yes, has it joycon-drift?
Im thinking on getting either the rgb30 or x55 which one should i get. Or should I just say fvck it and get the miyoo mini plus with the grip
get the RGB 30
Can you stretch the gba games and remove the logo names on the bottom ??? like gameboy advance logo
Yes, you can do both... I don't know why you'd want to stretch it though, it would screw up the aspect ratio beyond objectionable levels.

Neat
BattleToads!
Its a great and easy system. Feels like a neo geo color pocket.
