That doesnt make any sense every brand new vehicle has a 60,000 mile power train warranty. If his engine blew up at 30,000 he is still under warranty and the dealership is obligated to fix or replace it. Did your friend super charge it? Or do any kind of modification that may have voided his warranty?

If I bought one it would the Custom instead of the LT. The Custom comes with the 6sp and no cylinder deactivation. I hear they have had lots of trouble with the cylinder deactivation motors. Anyone else heard that?
2hotFL it does have cylinder deactivation. It’s the old system the AFM. All 2019’s and up with the 6 speed have the old System and the 8 and 10 speed’s the new deactivation system the DFM. I own a custom trail boss and just disabled the AFM with a range device so that it stayed as a V8.
Silverado and GMC 5.3L engines have had cylinder deactivation since the new generation on as far back as the 2007 models. And yes they have had lots of problems with that original system too. I bought the car in the picture in $57.000 ten years ago, these were the most tragic years I've ever been through. Mechanical problems from here to Honolulu, in the company's garages can be in good condition to repair shoes. And the GM management?? The customer is not important and is worth nothing to zero. In the last seven months, after a very large disappointment, the vehicle stood on the field for sale and served as a very nice place for the birds to poop on. Finally, the car was sold for spare parts, and for all the idiots who thought it was an invention I would say that a person has a face and a vehicle has a number and the facts and reality cannot be changed. This message is a message to the public not to throw away his money in the garbage bin. GM probably know how to manufacture vehicles for spare parts, and there is no service to the customer at all. And that's a fact and anyone who feels unpleasant can go knock their head against the wall. This company GM is dangerous to the public.
I think most of us just like the extra height and the aggressive wheel and tire package which comes with the Trail Boss. I’m sure a good portion of us will upgrade to a real suspension lift and some 35’s as soon as we can🤣
nice video man, one thing though, you skipped the starting the engine part. I mean, you talked wonders of the engine and all but you kept the best part turning it on and hear the first roar hehehe...also you didn't mention if it has start/stop button(even if it obvious its cool to watch the driver pushing dam button!)anyways, the truck its on my wish list thanks to this video !
Very good review, one of the best Trail Boss reviews I have seen on TH-cam. I have been eyeing this model for some time now but now with this whole Coronavirus pandemic I have had to hold back on purchasing one for now. The F150 Raptor is another badass truck but waaay overpriced in my opinion. Keep up the reviews!
You can have a badass Ford F150 for a lot less than the cost of the Ford F150 Raptor. Buy new.....or even used Ford F150 with 5.0L V8......then take it to PaxPower ( v8Raptor.com) in Texas. PaxPower can turn a regular F150 into a full blown Raptor.....OR....just build your F150 with OEM factory Raptor suspension or....better yet...the ICON "Raptor Suspension".....either one is about $7000 for the parts. PaxPower gets a huge discount on the ICON suspension. The Raptor body parts are VERY EXPENSIVE......but optional with PaxPower. Cost a lot less using regular fender flares instead of Raptor body panels for the longer A-arms and wider rear axle. The end result is a slightly modified looking regular F150.....but with the 5.0L V8...more off-road capability than a OEM factory F150 Raptor.

I don’t really like the new exteriors of the Chevy’s so I went with a 2020 GMC AT4. It’s the nicest truck I’ve ever owned. After seeing this video it just makes my decision worth it because Chevy missed the mark with a lot of options that GMC totally nailed with the AT4.

to Honolulu, in the company's garages can be in good condition to repair
shoes. And the GM management?? The customer is not important and is
worth nothing to zero. In the last seven months, after a very large
disappointment, the vehicle stood on the field for sale and served as a
very nice place for the birds to poop on. Finally, the car was sold for
spare parts, and for all the idiots who thought it was an invention I
would say that a person has a face and a vehicle has a number and the
facts and reality cannot be changed. This message is a message to the
public not to throw away his money in the garbage bin. GM probably know
how to manufacture vehicles for spare parts, and there is no service to
the customer at all. And that's a fact and anyone who feels unpleasant
can go knock their head against the wall. This company GM is dangerous
to the public.
$50 rancho shocks that you can buy at Pep Boys, and all the Chevy guys go crazy..
night stalker and a hockey puck lift.
Yeah its nothing really.....they bank on people not knowing, but then again raptor suspension while better isn't that tough to beat either
I think most of us just like the extra height and the aggressive wheel and tire package which comes with the Trail Boss. I’m sure a good portion of us will upgrade to a real suspension lift and some 35’s as soon as we can🤣
your here though aren't you. ford not pleasing you with the ugly trucks? or dodge not powerful enough?
mike lovell lol his funny comment must have hurt your feelings 😂
Mine doesn't have the bed camera. Why is that🤔
So I’m new to trucks, and looking to get one for the utility. I’ve heard great things about this specific truck. Are trucks worth the price tag?
I just time warped to 2023 and major price increases 65.000 - sunroof. WTF
2019 was the best I don’t like how simple the interior is
Getting my 2020 Z71 Custom Trailboss tomorrow! Can’t fucking wait!!
nice video man, one thing though, you skipped the starting the engine part. I mean, you talked wonders of the engine and all but you kept the best part turning it on and hear the first roar hehehe...also you didn't mention if it has start/stop button(even if it obvious its cool to watch the driver pushing dam button!)anyways, the truck its on my wish list thanks to this video !
Hey Chevy boys is it acceptable to put mud tires on a 2wd Silverado? No lift just the tires
I have questions
how the wi fi works there? is only for the car? you can use it for Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp? do you have to pay for it??
Get the extended warranty for the torque converter going out and all of chevy's electrical issues you'll get with the deal.
RP Productions Awesome Review I think that 2020 Trail Boss is Absolutely Incredible and I think you should definitely get one for some Awesome Off-roading Content
having owned 5.3's, get the 6.2... if you're shopping this category, you'll regret it if you don't. if you justify 5.3 for "efficiency" reasons you should probably just get a ridgeline. :-D
“Yeeyee & 4WD” 😂
I don’t really like the new exteriors of the Chevy’s so I went with a 2020 GMC AT4. It’s the nicest truck I’ve ever owned. After seeing this video it just makes my decision worth it because Chevy missed the mark with a lot of options that GMC totally nailed with the AT4.
I dont like the curve lines underneath the mirrors on the nbs chevys
Do they have any the problems like the 8 speed did
Local dealer is selling the new crew cab trail boss for $34K
Just bought a 2020 Trail Boss LT 6.2. love it. Traded my 18 Silverado 5.3. sorry, I'll never go back to the 5.3. Do I need the 6.2, no, do I want a 6.2 HELL YES😁 there's no replacement for displacement.
Thank you. I'm in the market for one now. Subscribed
