I’m so sorry to hear that you young ones have fibromyalgia 😢 at least I was in my early 70s. I hope these exercises help us all. Thanks to this lovely lady.

As a 17 year old with fibromyalgia and arthritis it’s been really hard. I’m so happy I’m not alone.

As an 18 year old with fibromyalgia since I was 9 years old, I'm kinda happy to see younger people like me going through the same thing (and I say "kinda" cuz this isn't something to be actually happy about lol I wouldn't wish this for my worst enemy, but it just feels less alone)

@@_l0v3_lyn. I totally understand. It’s hard out here, especially when most understand and the ones that do are usually older. I hope you’re doing well❤️

I’ve been struggling with fibromyalgia while really wanting to work out and feeling like I’m not doing enough. Your words hit hard and were needed - to really listen to my own body and rather do short exercises like these everyday than pushing myself and have negative consequences. Thank you for this video and encouragement!!!!

I've been dealing with a flareup for days now, so I've been stiff and hurting. I knew that stretches would help, but so many of them make me feel worse. This routine was so gentle and easy on me, and I think I can finally get some sleep after doing it.
Chronic pain is a brutal thing, and so many people don't understand how hard it is to do anything with it, much less exercise. I'm still working on telling myself that it's okay to struggle with things that other people can do easily. Listening to someone who understands can be rough because you're challenging those deep-set beliefs, but it's freeing too. Knowing that someone not just believes you but knows that it's harder than you want others to think.
Thank you for this routine. It's going to quickly become my daily one.

This so far has been my “to go” Pilates workout. I also suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome and this workout feels a little challenging but yet I feel refreshed after completing it. I am always looking to try out a new workout whenever I have a flare up because I am afraid I’ll be bed rested for the next few days. Thank you so much and please add more videos of these types of movements that work great for sufferers from chronic pain!

Thank you so much for being such a gift to humanity Jessica. It's so nice to do these gentle exercises. I just got a new exercise ball and did the seated exercises on it and it was so fun! I've waited for years to hear a teacher talk the way you do. Thank you so much for understanding how it feels to move through pain. This helps so much.❤🙏

    Gosh .
So glad I found you . I have Fibromyalgia and CFS . I needed help with exercise and Chronic pain clinic is 40 miles away from me , I could not make that journey .
I love these gentle exercises and after 2 weeks can feel them helping me .
You explain so well and not rushed , although you are on You Tube it’s as if you are here with me and your compassion and understanding supports me too. I can’t say I have found this with other channels .
    I am so grateful .

So glad i found your channel! I feel less aches and pains after just one week of one or two videos a day. Your words are exactly what I need to hear- I really appreciate you taking the time to explain the why. I also love when your videos move a little more slowly and give more time to sit in a stretch.

Thank you so much for this video, it's been a game changer for me. Ever since I watched this video I have, for the first time, felt able and motivated to do these (or some of these) gentle movements. I have never been able to be so consistent with exercise before and most amazingly I have genuinely noticed an improvement in muscle tone from "just" doing these! Having "permission" to do these lying in bed has meant that I actually do them. Thank you so much for putting this out there ☺

Thank you so much for doing this video and for the information!!!!! I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a month ago but have been struggling with the severe pain for about 6 months. I have been following you for 2 years and doing your gentle stretches for about 5 months since I have not been able to workout at all. You have been a blessing. Any new information you are able to provide I would appreciate!! Thank you so much!!!! 🙂❤️

Finally an exercise I can do especially during a fibro flare. Exercise has been tricky for me because I won't know that it is too much for me until the next day. I can always start out with this on days that are very bad. Thank you, Jessica for this video.

I have fibromyalgia and my rheumatologist suggested stretching, but I had no idea how to do that. I found this video from Google and I'm glad I did! This is the first one that is soothing and I feel like I can do as a true beginner. Thank you. I will be trying to make this part of a routine.
*And as a bonus, I actually felt a little bit of relief for about an hour! That's amazingly rare for me so far as my body is super stubborn.

According to good research and the book “Breath” by James Nestor, inhaling and exhaling should be done only through the nose. Contrary to what I’ve always done.
