The second school was in a Chinese community, but we had 30% Malay and Indian students. Parents appreciated the discipline and the teaching. At Matric, I researched to help students to do well and be collaborative and independent learners who think critically and creatively. But I'm aware that the OECD considers Malaysia a place where teachers view students are passive learners. This attitude must change. It's people like him who deserves respect because they are the minority that can bring the country some hope with integrity and dignity after the years of sickening government we had been shying from till almost denying our citizenship in any possible way.
