    00:01:50 Guest Intro
00:05:15 Most people think Syed Saddiq is too young to be in politics
00:06:20 Why did MUDA leave PH?
00:08:12 Is MUDA's contestation of their own a response to PH's indifference?
00:13:18 What is MUDA’s end goal?
00:15:26 How important are State Elections vs General Elections?
00:19:35 Did Saddiq seek out advice from his colleagues?
00:24:05 Why start a Youth centric party instead of just being a Youth wing?
00:30:36 Does MUDA's timing with the approaching State Elections make sense?
00:34:50 Only Syed Saddiq is seen when people look at MUDA
00:38:17 If MUDA managed to get an audience with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim would they still have contested? OR Would MUDA have still run if they had been able to meet with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim?
00:42:25 Syed Saddiq tried everything to contact the Prime Minister
00:43:33 Why is race based politics still being used in 2023?
00:45:34 Meritocracy needs to be embraced if we want to make Malaysia a developing country
00:51:30 Would MUDA be open to work with the current coalition if they lost the State Elections?
00:54:18 Syed Saddiq couldn’t get tickets to Coldplay (don’t worry, we didn’t too)
00:55:48 Malaysia lost out on a lot of money and tourism with concerts
    01:02:25 Speedrun questions time!
01:08:07 Maggi Cheezy Berapi is really berapi

Hi, I came to the future to tell you MUDA did have an uphill battle in the state elections, lost all seats and deposits and publicly ridiculed. But don't give up YB, you're the face of modern Malaysia.

I really like the way Syed Saddiq & MUDA choose online platform like SAYS, KELUAR SEKEJAP,MGAG & JINNYBOY as old of their election campaign to get a better reach to the audience and to promote about MUDA in the upcoming state election

No doubt he has the appeal that new gen voters love, but just like how people usually say the new and young and reckless and likes to break things along the way without fearing of consequences, this is exactly what MUDA is doing. Go ahead and vote for them, but do it AFTER we push back the religious and racial extremists, that's the bigger enemy, we can talk about real reforms immediately after that, which is hopefully after the state elections.

    • @shriramvenu

there is never a good time. There will always be some other excuse why we shouldn't vote for MUDA the next time. You want to push back against the racial and religious extremists, but PH is pandering to them! So whats the point? Vote MUDA in order to make PH wake up and start performing!

23 January 2019, YB Syed Saddiq as then, the Minister of Youth and Sports, was interviewed on BBC World News and broadcast in Qatar TV. I was supremely impressed by his intelligence, knowledge and articulation. These are the qualities of the politicians needed in Malaysia. Now I see he has evolved with integrity, honesty and truthfulness. These are the qualities much lacking in the Malaysian political scene. YB SS, you were 26 in 2019, now you are just into your thirties. Be patient, be strong, be true to yourself and to all Malaysians and be safe, you have time in MUDA vs orang2 TUA. YB Syed Saddiq, you are the future of Malaysia. Be brave.

so how do you plan to make in roads to rural voters ? they have more young people per family over there, unless you can get them to vote you, there will be no change in status quo. there is only that much seats for urban areas. and urban voters are pretty calculative when it comes to who to vote

i just cant fully agree with Brendon, pls lah don't keeps repeating the new coalition is just 8 months.
Any damages once started, it will only roll bigger, so no time is the best time.
Like Sadduq said, things should already starts rolling now. In fact, I felt MUDA started slightly late, PH coalition has started those evil side of them just a few months after came into power.
A 40+ yo uncle myself, i concur pledging support for Muda, not for myself, but hoping for a future better Malaysia with all the constitutional reforms really comes into picture, benefiting my offspring & younger gen.

PKR was establish in 1998 under the idea of "Reformasi" and now it's part of the government. And it will not surprise me if 20-30 years from now MUDA is probably as strong as PKR. Even those day (late 80's-90's), heck there's now way PAS can win in other state except Kelantan. Now they can win in Terengganu and possible most Northern state.

Bear in mind PN (in specific PAS) almost won the federal government and majority of state governments in Peninsular Malaysia thanks to the Undi18 pushed by Syed Shaddiq. If I were UMNO and PKR (two major losers in the previous GE), of course I wouldn't discuss much with MUDA, because stability (I refer to stability of the power) is much important than revolution with lot of uncertainties.

MUDA's got some big ideals, but let's face it, politics isn't a game of pure black and white, especially in a democracy. It's more like a wild chess match where you might have to give up a pawn to win. You can't just make huge changes overnight unless you've got all the power. Sometimes, you've got to play in the gray areas, and that's something MUDA needs to learn if they want to get ahead.

MUDA like likely gonna capture votes from upper class young urbanites who are likely the most liberal group in the country.
While I'd like to see a scenario between choosing MUDA vs PH in future, now is simply not the time for it. Selangor's stake is high. If PHBN loses Selangor, it is game over for MUDA as well.
MUDA's timing for this state elections is not ideal and can even cause damage to PHBN by splitting votes. I seriously question their intention to contest in this state elections. We need to shut down the far right in this state elections and ensure better politics in the next coming GE.
