      As we are in a nation who uses a simple majority voting system, being the third and more so the 4th force will be hard, especially if they don't have any grassroots. I we allocate the seats based on the percentage of votes, smaller parties would have a chance to live on

      SS is doing the right thing to act as a check and balance to the government. But if you're talking about them winning the election and replace PH, I don't see that coming anytime soon. Everyone said what their doing is right and supports them, but they can't even secure their deposits in the state elections. I wonder where all these support went.

      PH: 82. PH:74. BN + GPS: 53 (since GPS said will follow BN).
      Do you think the results will be any different if BN were to gabung with PN instead of PH?
      Use your brain lah, Regardless of who forms the government, Zahid WILL escape. Anyone try to imprison Zahid, will not only lose the government seat, but will instead hand over the seat to a new government as Zahid will gabung with opposition to cukupkan the 112 numbers.

      @graywilliams_77. ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, you can blame the Fed for manipulating the market by keeping interest rates artificially low for the last decade. They created this mess and now there's no way to fix it without completely crashing the market. And I'm OK with that.

    • @susannicky
      @susannicky ปีที่แล้ว

      You can also blame the Fed but most of it goes to those investors that have made life difficult for the 61% of people that are living paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford to buy a home because of these investors that gobble up the properties and jacking up the rent and buying price for a home. That’s BS.

      He's mainly talking about CA real estate in the Bay Area for this video. Many real estate investors in other parts of CA, and even other states, are still doing well. In CA, I'm sure the lack of supply to meet demand, rising construction costs, extremely long process to approve housing projects, and high property taxes are just a few things causing high housing prices in the state. It's bias to just use real estate investors as the scapegoat to "a major reason why the real estate market is the way that it is now".

    My 2 cents as a MUDA member (non-active) & i joined during the early days as i believed MUDA could be the difference.
    But.. fast forward to today, and there's NOT a single dominant party currently that can command the majority in Parliament & hence unfortunately alliance has to be made. It comes to a point, we have to choose to work with the lesser evil for a greater cause.
    I believe most of us are sick & tired of elections & want a stable competent government for the next few years - at least until the next GE.
    SS is young as we were once... in my 20's i even voted for PAS due to my hatred of rampant corruption in BN. At that age, we are idealists & we would not "compromise" our principles for anything. Life was easy, we had no commitment, a family of our own or employees who depended on us. Even the gullible SS made innocent "mistakes" causing him to be charged in court.
    But let's be realistic, would PH want to work with BN or let alone PN if PH has the strong majority to rule?
    What MUDA did during recent PRN was splitting the votes of PH, there's no way any of PN voters will vote for MUDA. MUDA is banking on sympathy votes are we do not have any grassroots support.
    The country is NOT ready for 3rd force.. we will be there someday hopefully for the sake of the nation & our generation... but till then i will continue to support PH.

    • @bumblebum32
      @bumblebum32 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      It's refreshing to read a comment with common sense. Nevertheless, there's always the question of which is the 'lesser evil'? Whomever we vote for is based on the input we receive and how we process that information in our judgment. Judgment depends on a variety of factors, such as our lifestyle, priorities, and principles. I believe we can only 'hope' that one day, when all these old politicians retire for good, we can enter a new era where we don't have to choose between the lesser evil but rather the 'better one'.

    • @rajadosabah88
      @rajadosabah88 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    It was so intense of an interview that the actual Nasi Lemak became merely a prop. No right-minded Malaysians will drop the Nasi Lemak, but this is proof that the matter surpasses the Nasi Lemak's significance to us. And I respect the fact that as long as YBSS didn't touch the Nasi Lemak (I know he said he had breakfast), thank you Mr Money for holding in that hunger and urge, just to work with YBSS on the interview, adding the air of seriousness even more when the prop to lighten the conversation wasn't functioning.
    Prime example of the usual Malaysian way of life; "as long as I get to eat, anything goes" doesn't cut it here. Imagine how non-serious the interview would have felt if they both were eating the Nasi Lemak as they talked. A prime indicator and well-placed item on the table to mark this interview.

      @@starking1187 cannn.. it's a matter of the man's principle. Anwar have shown himself to be spinless since ages ago, yet stupid people vote for him. speaking does not cost anything, yes, but speaking the truth with facts to back it up is harder to do.
      For example, shout cheap petrol shout free education, shout cheap food cost so easy. Yet when Najib explained so and so, and asked the PH people to come out with mitigation plans, loads and loads of rubbish formula came out. That's how Rafizi got his "Raja Formula" nickname.
      SPEAK WITH KNOWLEDGE, NOT PROPAGANDA, is the kind of menteri you should vote for. not the ones that feed your agenda. I know, you got so much hatred for Najib, so you like Anwar to be on top. Now what you want? Communist to take regime?

      @starking1187 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@r.sakarollsafe1285 from my point of view. Whether or not you want to vote for MUDA depends on your own understanding of politicians in general. If you see SS as some kind of hero who can do something differently, something that neither of the previous coalitions, be it BN, PH or PN can do, then be my guess and vote for them.
      But to me, this is no longer a case of a certain political party but ALL parties in general. I believe all politicians at the end of self-interest driven, not the country, not the people. PH & MUDA is no different. So I don't see the need to bring up what PH has done as two wrong doesn't make a right.
      With how PH is self destructing right now, It's not a surprise that MUDA can become the government some time in the future. Not because MUDA is super great, but because PH has gone so rotten that the voters need to search for alternatives options and given that MUDA is the only standing third force in Malaysia, they will be voted.
      At the end of of the day, Malaysia's political reality is that there's no good party and voters have to choose between two of the lesser evils. In the future, MUDA will just replace PH as the lesser even. Don't expect them to be able to bring any significant changes to the country.

    Great to listen to a Malay leader talk this way - eloquent in English (and Bahasa), candid, pragmatic and positive. If Malaysia has more such leaders and stay on truth to their righteous path - and not change path or tune when they become national leaders - it will be a successful and respectable nation in the future. Reformasi will not become Reformati. Most tragic is most of these national leaders are supposed to believe in their religion, and always utter prayer of thanks such as being acquitted of 47 charges or more serious white-collar crime! So something might be more seriously wrong than in politics or human weaknesses of men and women?

    People are focusing on Zahid's DNAA. But don't forget that the AG Chambers also conveniently missed the deadline to appeal against Najib & Arul Kanda's Acquittal in the money laundering case, and the AGC has botched a few other high profile cases. To me this looks suspiciously like the prosecution are intentionally sabotaging their cases to let these people be acquitted by the court. In fact one of the case judges even criticised the prosecution for doing such a lousy job (i can't remember which case).
    On top of that we see that the Unity Government, led by PH, is not fulfilling any of the PH reform promises. Rather they are backtracking on them. So it looks like UMNO is the one setting the agenda not PH

    Good thing Singapore has parted ways with Malaysia 58 years ago when Singapore was one of the 14 states of Malaysia since the formation of the Federation of Malaysia on 16 September 1963.
    Clearly, a corrupt official should be disqualified from taking part in the general election and another thing why we (Singapore) left Malaysia since 9 August 1965 was that we do not agree to associating racial with politics, and all political parties in Singapore are multiracial, unlike Malaysia when their political parties tend to associate with race with is dangerously divisive and detrimental for the country (Malaysia) as this is not meritocracy whereby one earns and gains based on merits regardless of racial background.
    There are stark contrast when it comes to handling of corruption, where it is appalling to drop corruption charges to politicians like Zahid in Malaysia, and though the only recent corruption charge involving a politician (S. Iswaran), his political government post was immediately suspended and relieved until further notice from the moment he was investigated by Singapore's CPIB (something like Malaysia's MACC).

    principle my arsee. what has SS did when he was appointed as a Minister? Do you see any principle? Do you see anything he said now has been done when he was at power? does he critic his own government that time? When Tun M was the PM did he make any noise? Lim guan eng case drop by AG in 2018 where was his noise?? Now he make noise is just because trying to create a perception that he fought the government and if he found guilty by the court he will claim his case is political motivated. He did nothing for the country but only for himself. When he was in power in 2018 did anyone see his government provide any allocation to the opposition? after he was kick out from Bersatu and he become the opposition then only he start to make noise since he didn't used to work without money. over the past 60years all opposition work without allocation yet they still can become opposition but look at him now, start to blame teacher, student being abandon without allocation. All politician without power can talk like nobody business but when they are in power they did nothing at all because whatever they say cant be done as easy as they want. Corruption is not just politicians, it is involve public servants, businessman, and whoever that has beneficiary with money. Look at the mirror as it reflect your self as what you blame others.

    Need to point out a few things. Reason why he decided to pull Muda out simply because Muda has becoming irrelevant in the unity government. Last election, Muda was not given to chance to participate as part of the unity government. So they decided to go solo and got wiped out. That is a big blow. Staying with unity government no longer an option as Muda would be disapper and become irrelevant .Zahid case is just an opportunity for SS to be in the spotligjt. To gain the "good image" that many people would want to see. It's so clear when he went on and call DAP lapdog. Ofcourse he played down the seriousness of that word. But he knew that is a big word to use on DAP to gain more supports especially from anti Dap supporters. That probably the easiest way to gain popularity at the moment. He Just an opportunist to me. Why don't he call Amanah and PKR too? And Just ask him, what would he do if is in PMX shoe? get Zahid charged, and PN take over as government and then what? See more new corruptions? If PH doesn't be government for this term, there will never be another 1. Atleast at the moment, in 4 years time, Anwar would be able to atleast show the Malaysians that he is the right person to guide Malaysia to a better future and minimise the corruptions in the government. Get real.
