    A standing desk is a type of desk that allows you to work while standing instead of sitting. There are several potential benefits to using a standing desk, including:
    Reducing the risk of obesity: Standing burns more calories than sitting, which can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight.
    Improving posture: Sitting for long periods can lead to poor posture and back pain. Standing can help you maintain a better posture and reduce the risk of developing back pain.
    Reducing the risk of chronic diseases: Prolonged sitting has been linked to an increased risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some forms of cancer. Standing can help to reduce these risks.
    Increasing energy and productivity: Standing can help to improve blood flow and oxygen levels in the body, which can help to increase energy levels and improve productivity.
    Improving mood: Standing can help to reduce stress and improve mood, which can lead to a more positive and productive workday.
    Improving focus and concentration: Standing can help to increase blood flow to the brain, which can improve focus and concentration.
    It is important to note that standing for too long can also have negative effects, such as fatigue and joint pain. It is recommended to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day, or use an adjustable standing desk that allows you to switch between sitting and standing positions.

    //WHO AM I?
    I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
    I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

    //FAQ
    Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
    A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
    Q: Can you make a living selling online?
    A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
    Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
    A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
    Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
    A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

    Thank you for your honest review. It means so much more this way than if you were sponsored, for sure. I really like the fact that it can be lowered to a sitting position and you're not married to standing the entire time. Definitely get that tax write off. The reason I like your videos is because you're a straight shooter. What you see is what you get. I appreciate that. Keep up the good work.

    I like that you're not afraid to mix it up a bit and put this one out - and nicely related (also well done!) for us resellers, ty Wick

    Thanks for a great review!! 😊 I use one of those stress relief mats by my sink for when I do dishes and they’re great.

    Star Trek tng really predicted the future well. On the bridge they have standing computers but underneath they can pull out a chair, they’re camouflaged well. They even predicted pajamas and sweat suits as everyday clothing.

    Good tip on the monitor height. I’m 6’ 7”, so I’ll probably need a stand. Great video!

    Nice review thanks. We have some of these at work and people love them. Ours adjust with a hand crank. We also have an upright desk/treadmill combo. I look forward to that review 😂

    Check out KDP as a long term stock.
    Good review on the desk. I've wanted a standing desk or a Varidesk for a long time. Standing to do computer work is underrated.

      Yeah, it's a good stock. I may pick up some shares down the road when it gets closer to $30 a share. I feel like the market is going to pull back a good amount soon and plan on doing some buying if so.

    I didn't know you dabble in stocks too! Same here. Drop a ticker you think could possibly be great in 5 years. Sweet jeager machine also Wick!

      Well, there's a few I'm keeping an eye on, but F (Ford) I'm looking to get in at a good price. Probably $6-10 a share range. I think the economy is going to wear this stock down the next couple of years and then it will recover after the "recession". Solid company, good dividend (for now), and they are setup to do well in the future with electronic cars etc.

    Fezibo. I was watching a video recently about how foreign manufacturers come up with these names. Just looking to trademark something that hasn’t been used before.

    You definitely need a cushioned mat for standing!! 👍

    Do you need to attach the casters? (wheels that screw into the bottom for it to roll) How stable is it on a carpeted floor without the casters?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't have to put the casters on. They are optional. It won't roll without them, though. It's very stable with or without them.

    Yes, I love my standing desk. It helps me reduce work related stress and I feel better when standing up. I would be interested in learning more about your stock trading, . Do you have any favorite TH-camrs you follow? Are you just mainly into Day trading?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't really follow any. Most seem to be sketchy to me. I don't do a lot of day trading because it takes too much time and focus. Usually just swing trades and taking long term dividend positions.

    what kind of monitor stand do you have? Did you drill through the top to secure it? Or is it a clamp?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just a stand with arms. I forget the brand, but it came from amazon.

      @@FlippingJunk then how does it not fall over? It would simply fall over if not secured to the desk top somehow

    • @FlippingJunk

      @@DRSEABACHER just physics. The weight is divided evenly. Won't fall over unless you swivel the side monitors way out to the front causing more weight in front.
