  • How much HORSEPOWER & TORQUE does the 27WON Kuro Turbo (FK8 Hybrid Turbo) make on our project car, the 2019 Honda Accord 2.0? We take our 10th Gen Honda Accord project car with its new FK8 Hybrid Turbo to the DYNO to see how much wheel horsepower it produces on the DYNOJET DYNO! Now that our upgraded "BIG" turbo is installed (including our other performance modifications such as; PRL HVI, PRL HV Downpipe, PRL Type R Titanium Air Inlet, Mishimoto Intercooler, and more), and fully tuned by Derek Robinson (DROB) of Innovative Motorworks (IMW), it's time to find out how much power can be gained from our weeks of eTuning (eTune) both for 91octane AND our E85 ethanol blend. We'll then compare the dyno results to our baseline / totally stock Honda Accord, the Phearable Stage 3 ECU tune, and the Phearable Stage 4 ECU tune to see how much performance we gained with the new turbo. Find out what you may reasonably expect when upgrading to the 27WON Kuro on your 10th Gen Honda Accord 2.0. Should you upgrade your stock / OEM Honda Accord turbo???
Looking for ways to gain horsepower on YOUR 10th Gen (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) Honda Accord 2.0 or 1.5 turbocharged car - this video / channel will give you the information you need to help you make an informed decision regarding the best mods for your 10th Gen. Your content is the main reason why I purchased a 10th Gen Accord 2.0t Touring. I don't' plan to swap Turbo's, but the fact a internally stock 2.0t (K20C) engine can output 400 HP, to the stock 10 speed transmission just proves the 10th gen is one the greatest Honda Accords built.

Wow! This is what our 2.0T Accords need! I run Phearable Stage 3 w/93 octane. Traction sucks! If the TQ curve comes on later, then less spin , and the additional HP pulls you through! E30 should be spectacular! TQ may be near limit with 10 speed auto. TQ management can be limited in tune to protect the tranny. Once you are up and moving with foot to the floor, HP takes over in the higher rpms. You were stoked in the video! Congrats!

You should test your Accord on an AWD Dyno because I think this is the reason you cannot rev your engine up to 6500rpm redline.

Have you seen this proven? 🤨

    • @Eugen-E

@@TheLemonFactor No, but I assume this could be true because cars respond different to this type of testing. There are other cars that do other weird things when you don't use awd dynos and also because there is no other explanation to why the car is revving just up to 5700 meanwhile on the road it revs the engine up to the redline.
