- In this episode of this series, our team will be giving this 2018 Honda Accord 2.0 Turbo with some performance upgrades. We started off with a RV6 High-Flow Catted Downpipe. Then we moved on with our favorite @PRLMotorsports goodies, including Intercooler, Charge Pipe Kit and High Volume Intake System. Then we finished off with K-Tuner software along with Phearable's Tune.

Like the intercooler PRL. Just sad to see that center front sensor and bumper guard covers a lot of air space for more cold airflow. But offcourse major upgrade...

Mike, Nice to see a video of 10 gen Accord. Ty. Are the parts you are installing will fit the Accord 10 gen 1.5T Sport? I am mainly want the intercooler and intake. Will that make any different in performance. I noticed my 2020 1.5 T sport is slower than my wife 2018 EX 1.5T in acceleration.
PRL offers a similar intake, downpipe, and the intercooler is compatible with the 1.5t
Pretty sure you can use ktuner to avoid showing codes? Could be wrong but I thought that was possible

So much eazy to install and not lot plumbing there, I luke the B 16 generation with ram style headers 46mm blow off valves. But cool runner.
I think it would've been nice if the downpipe came with an optional cool looking heat shield. The factory just looks bland lol
Wish my battery tray was all one piece, like 8 bolts and 2 brackets lol.
I wonder if the accord Intercooler piping will also fit the Tlx 🤔

Brother can you do some work for Honda Accord 2017, wheels and tires some engine work ?
i got my intercooler installed today on my 2018 2.0, after a few miles the lane departure warnings, acc light, brake system light all came on the dash. Everything was fine before that. Could the shop have did something to the front sensor? it drives fine. i reflashed the same tune, havent tried flashing stock yet. drove for an hour and still not cleared.
I’ve been trying to find something like this for my 16 accord sport but for some reason cannot find anything. Will this same piece fit the 16 accord??
So I had a shop install the intercooler charge piping on my 2L Accord and now I'm hearing a vibration type of noise whenever I'm in Reverse after the RPM drop or when the AC is on sometimes motor mounts are good any thoughts on what I can check or what it might be thank you
I know that this was filmed over six months ago, and I love the mods that give a very clean look and also the PRL line. But I have a question. There were a lot of moving parts to this mod. How many labor hours did it take to complete?

I have a 2017 accord sport and was wondering if I could get the same power out of mine? Unfortunately I don’t see a very large selection of options for the 9th gen accord. I’m not looking to go insane, just want to make it a daily sleeper. And to shut up all these mopar idiots with Edgar haircuts screaming at me on the highway cause I have an exhaust and intake “392! Dodge! Run it! I’ll dust you!” *which they would cause I only have a 2.4 with no turbo haha* and speed off all disgusting loud BWAAAAAAAH! Lol

Did you have to recalibrate the radar? Also, sick video! I'm trying to get this all done plus a Type R Turbo swapped. Just need the 3-5k and going for it.

@@ahcgarage I had the tiniest rock hit it on the highway a few months back and it knocked the cover clean off and that was a fun $250 fix and replacement of the cover…

@@andrewdorsettproductions well it's up to you the MHI stage 2 are great 👍 what I've seen so far is low 400 to about 386whp with decent mods, tune and flex fuel. The Garrett going to cost more because you have to buy extra stuff to get it to fit unlike the Garrett that straight factory bolt on. I'd say if you don't want the headache or want to replace parts in the engine after 100k miles, just go with the MHI stage 2 still oem upgrade and it's reliable 😉 so you don't have to worry. I want to go Garrett but on the fence too, because this is going to be the daily since I'm trading in my 2nd vehicle G37 for a Q60 which base mods can get me to 500whp.

Each of those cars have different variations of motors. The type r motor and the accord 2.0 are similar but not the same. The type r has a lot of internal differences.
