Dom was such a great personality in our world. I'm glad we have all these videos of him and I'm also glad I got to meet him and attend one of his masterclass.
Ray is a beautiful person. I was lucky enough to meet him 4 times. Every time he was the coolest ever. I'm so happy he became a permanent member of Korn. :)
43 year old musician here who's never smoked a single ciggy or even been tipsy or tried a single (illegal) drug in my life. Just Coffee !! Riding my motorbike and playing drums are my buzz.
Seen ray in the crowd at the Godsmack concert in Nashville April 16 2019... yelled Ray.. he looked and I gave a thumbs up and screamed (you the fk’n man)..he just smiled and gave a thumbs up back...... talk about a kick ass day..Ray and Shannon Larkin in the same building...
Square, Level, & Plumb I hope to someday get to see him in a clinic atmosphere. I mean I’ve seen vids of all the great ones but something about a live setting that’s electric.
Ray is such a good human being and such a humble drummer. He has inspired me for years and is the reason I have my drum setup the way I do(very muvh like his setup)
SUCH A GENUINE GUY. love it!! i was self tought and it on drums it was hard. i got lucky and got to tour the US and canada when i was 17 yrs old. it was the best days of my life!!!
I love this series and Ray is such a class act. Thank you, Dom, for taking the time to place the spotlight on not just a fabulous drummer, but a fabulous human being.
Very nice and cool man - Love his extreme precise and creative drumming with KORN and KMX Dom Famularo next to him as the most awesome teacher and mentor for lots of drummers out there
Ray your a great role model for today’s youth, so many think there’s an easy way to achieve your status. Hard work and passion for being a percussionist without the care of being paid big money someday. And I’ve been a Luzier fan since david Lee Roth. No telling how many high school music programs the man has saved over the years. And I think his religious faith runs deeper than his music. Keep on bashing your brains out ray and I’ll keep coming to shows!
I wouldn't go that far...it's not a competition, and the other guys in KoRn literally created their own music genre we all now refer to as Nu Metal. He is extremely lucky to be a member of KoRn, who are easily one of the most influential bands to come out of the 1990s.
Heartbreaking about the disappearing schools. Strange things are happening to the world it seems, sometimes. Anyway, great interview and very nice energies to be inspired by. Both of you. Thanks a lot!
Ohh Mr. Luzier, you dont need anything but what you already provide to the world, excellence, precision, MUSICAL percussion. You are brilliant sir, my favorite percussionist on this planet. Big, BIG differences between a drummer and a percussionist. Love your chops period. I'm getting old now and live in bumb f#*k West Virginia, but I will never quit learning (24 years playing now) partly due to you and your story. Thank you for doing what you do.
Cool guy.. talented .. Korn really got themselves a great drummer.. Dave is great,,but Ray is on another level.. ideal player.. . I don't know him,but ,I am happy for his success.
You still a rockin roll at 52..wow i'm totaly salute you..its very rare to find someone at their 50's and still jump n bang to rock n roll.. At 50 i've only saw greenday vocalist..i love himm..
Don't know how you do it Dom, but each one of your Sessions always seems to hit the right note to help me take my next step forward......Ill be Leaning Forward from now on 😀 Dave D from "Downunder"
Can't get enough of Ray Luzier! Now I've got to go back and listen to all of DLR's stuff. Fantastic series w/ Dom too I'm watching them all! #drummersunite what's with the people in the background though. Rude!
Apologize for any distractions, this one was done when Ray was on The Sessions panel event at a venue which had limited private areas to use for interviews & we didn't want to miss the opportunity to capture his story! Thanks for watching, sharing & subscribing to help us bring more interviews!
Session please try to get the amazing gene hoglan on the show. The knowledge of drumming that man has it invaluable to young artist. Maybe set it up for the next midwestrhythmsummit.org
Dom was such a great personality in our world. I'm glad we have all these videos of him and I'm also glad I got to meet him and attend one of his masterclass.
