This is unbelievable. What talent on that stage. How do musicians pull something like this off in a clinic or NAMM show and not say let's make this a thing? Are they not seeing it from our perspective because they are in the thick of it? This is just too notch musicianship. Mind blown.
That is easily one of the most kicka$$ drummers I have seen in a long time! What a killer sound from all involved! Great job all around for that band!!!!!
I have developed a full fledged man crush on Ray. Dude is fucking amazing and find myself researching his history now. Not a huge Korn fan. First album was amazing and still one of my all time favorites. I know Ray wasn't a member then. Combination of visual and absolutely smashing that is hypnotic. Seems like a cool guy too.
Dave Schrack Definitely check out everything from Korn 3 to Serenity of Suffering. He's been the drummer since like 2006 and he is a monater drummer. My all time favorite drummer. No other drummer sounds like him. Hes innovative and creative while also having all of his notes sounding clear and cutting.
@@dgm3393 100% agree David and Ray are two different drummers. All this pish about who's better. David was awesome on the first two albums until they introduced him to a click track.
LanceCampeau dont know anything about Luzier. This blew me away. Powerful / clean / musical chops. Perfect execution, visual & makes it look easy. Now a fan.
Ray is very good, so is Billy, but the unsung hero on this stage is Jeff Kollman. He is one of the most underrated guitar player I've ever heard. Super nice guy too.
Billy Sheehan, one of the greats... its amazing that they got a legend like him up there, those other dudes are lucky to be playing with someone of his caliber. Its a shame they didnt let him run loose n go ape shit near the end for 10 mins, hes got chops for DAYS, If this was a real group i'd be a fan... 😂👌🏻💪🏼
I remember that in 2004 I saw Korn at the Roskilde Festival with their former drummer David Silveria. And it was a great experience, but hey Ray Luzier is a gift for the band and a technically more accomplished drummer or he has become. And he is one of my top 5 drummers in the world where : Dave Grohl : John Bonham : Mike Portnoy : Neil Peart are also on the list 🤘🏻
His setup is so strange, he sits so high on throne. It’s almost like he is standing up. That China cymbal in middle and how his cymbals are positioned, absolutely unique. His skills always surprise me, the shizz he pulls off is amazing. Watching his clinic was super informative.
I will definitely try it when I find a new practice spot for my acoustic drums. I’m just using my Roland kit right now, it’s a great kit, however nothing like the real thing. Hitting rubber cymbal not as much fun but it’s close enough and I can have my drums in my apartment and play everyday, most times of the day
Awesome love ray one of my favorites along with bonham...if bonham was alive today he would say ahhhh double bass drum i will show you how to double kick...;)
This just shows another great side of Ray's playing.. I've seen him with David Lee Roth, Army Of Anyone, Korn.. he always plays with so much heart and feel. Drum solos get boring. This mix is on here is not that happening though.
£ favourite drummers of all time for me are: Jimmy Chamberlin - Smashing Pumpkins Dan Carey- Tool Ray Luzier I don't care about technique or whatever although this guy has it, it's more about style and identity
ray is a perfect example of how a modern drummer should be
I've watched Ray for a long time now. Absolute all time favorite drummer. Love this guy!
Ray Luzier..the best modern rock drummer in the entire planet.
You may be right but Danny Carey is not of this 🌎.
Ilan, Danny, and Ray

If this was a band, I would be a fan.
Rafael Hidalgo same!!
I also would too, partake in this sonic indulgence!
He is in a band, he also plays for korn
Billy Sheehan and Ray Luzier are an amazing combo
That is easily one of the most kicka$$ drummers I have seen in a long time! What a killer sound from all involved! Great job all around for that band!!!!!
Killer performance all around! Ray and Billy Sheehan are a perfect match.
Now that's a performance....rays drumming all on time counter sync to perfection.
Everyone was red hot and Rays musical drumming is to die for. I could listen to this all day

Man, I love his drumming. His playing with KXM is freaking crazy!
Korn ain't wrong in getting this guy.
Yeah, Ray Luzier is technically better than Korn's old drummer David Silveria.
BEST thing they ever did...
Agree
@louis mays not better but different .
@@dgm3393 100% agree David and Ray are two different drummers.
All this pish about who's better.
David was awesome on the first two albums until they introduced him to a click track.
Billy Sheehan is awesome!
Man, this ALL sounds f$#king awesome. Bonus points for the guitarist...
LanceCampeau dont know anything about Luzier. This blew me away. Powerful / clean / musical chops. Perfect execution, visual & makes it look easy. Now a fan.
He's been Korn's drummer for over a decade.
this is so sick.
That's what you get with so much talent and musicality on one stage! Pure genius and 100% originality! Awesome!
Ray luzier you are my fave drummer of all time brother
+Adrian Barry Luzier could actually be better than Korn's old long time former drummer "David Silveria".
+Mr V He's light years ahead of Silveria.
Herman Melville Yeah I agree especially with Luzier's technicality.
he's definitely a sick drummer for sure.
Amazing Drummer...........Amazing Feeling.........Great Performance......................................10+
Listening again and again!
I think Ray is one of the best drummers out there today
Ray is and always been #1 in my book!!!!!
Ray drumming always cooks!
Korn is lucky to have him.
They are lucky to have each other. All are incredibly talented musicians. Basically a super band at this point.
Great performance and skills all across the board. Ray is da masta....BREAK IT DOWN!!!!!
Ray is somethink from space for me , great drumer !

Everyone's so fucking critical of this guy!
Holy shit this is amazing!
Is that Billy Sheehan who play bass
A little "ear candy" from the past. 3:36 ... Nice fusion piece showing off everyone's skills.
God he's a powerhouse..

There needs to be a supergroup with Ray, Billy Sheehan, and John 5.
BIlly killin it as usual.

This reminds me of old times when my drum teacher played jazz and improvised the whole time so his bandmates.
Wow!
I would love to see a drummer battle between ray and mike portnoy
Ray is a fucking beast but dude, Mike is God, he es the lord.
Ray would crush that lol.
Jeff Kollman, one of the most underrated guitarist. His fusion band Cosmosquad is fucking amazing

The only thing that would make this better is if Jeff was playing a Gibson!!!!!!!!
