I absolutely love the mildly unhinged script/ editing
Gotta give that editor a raise
Theyre due for their 90 day review. Get that money!
how do u know he’s not already getting paid good
@@barlostx How do you know it's a he? 🤔 Also, paid well*. 😜
I know right. Their editor is doing a great job
@@randomrangoon5476 Even though they reuse footage? 20:54 21:25 😬 I wish they wouldn't do stuff like that just to lengthen a segment.
ITS TINALLY FIME!
came here to say this
ITS TINNALY FIME!
Pleeeeeeaae make this a shirt and take my monies
This smells like a merch hot seller!
That's right, it's fime tinally here
Jobe is such a knowledgeable dude who seems like he genuinely enjoys teaching people about cars. Never change Jobe.
That is what I liked about the moneypit miata, and this is giving very similar vibes except this is Jobe's car.
What makes BigTime an instant hit, is simply just how much FUN it is to just watch and listen. Zach and Jerry are just too cool dudes who make you feel like you are hanging with your bro’s. That’s what makes this channel so damn good
"Zip ties and a hammer" - sounds like a T shirt slogan to me 😂 ...
You win best comment. Make this happen BigTime!
T-Shirt that IMMEDIATELY!
and condoms
Jeremy Clarkson would be proud!
I would buy it.
Ain’t a Bigtime video if Jeremiah doesn’t go topless at some point.
I've heard it's easier to keep a fussy toddler fully clothed than Jeremiah Burton.
Twice even!!
he worked hard for that
2 TIMES, ONE UPLOAD! Life is good. not like he will even see this message. we all live in this mans shadow
Yes, earned a dislike for the seks reference
Hey Jobe your money pit Miata series got me into cars and last week, I finally got the confidence to picked up a wrench to "modify" my base Lancer by changing the steering wheel to something with music controls. Not much I know, but thank you very much for everything.
My next project would be painting the wheels. 😀
I bought an NB Miata because of that series. Those episodes got me through covid lockdowns!
When you go to paint the wheels. It's best if you do them off the car and lay them flat. Otherwise you'll be fighting gravity.
Scuff up the rims if you want the paint to stay on longer, or if you want to experiment, use some plasti-dip to try out different colors. It's comes right off and doesn't hurt the rims if you don't like it.
Or, go balls to the wall and get yourself a spray gun set up so when you apply primer, paint, and clear coat, it'll be put on evenly.
Good job man. Everyone has to start somewhere so there's no shame in it. Take your time and do your research. It's easier than ever for anyone wanting to DIY anything these days with TH-cam and the internet in general. Good luck with future projects.
Every step forward is just that! Props for making the effort!
you guys absolutely NAILED that stool kick to Jobe sit, move. very impressive. fan for life after that trickshot.
There’s something so satisfying about something you’ve waited on for years to happen, finally happening and it goes as well as you’d hope. Congrats, Jobe. You earned it.
disappointed you didn't tow it to the track with the Big Rig!
Cost big bucks to move something like that
Right
Needs to get his CDL first 😆
@@matt3613I mean, assuming nothing is broken on the truck then it’s not really that expensive to use it. Specially if it’s rolling without cargo(the car is basically a rounding error)
Naw, they can’t do it ALL in the beginning. Give them time to properly squeeze their AWESOME content out. Mad love boys
1) the editing was fucking sublime, and I appreciate that it was only super off the wall crazy at the beginning so it didn't get fatiguing
2) those shirts look fucking awesome, I want one
3) what a fun fucking video man. This channel has like singlehandedly gotten me back interested in cars again
I want to know how many takes it required to get the shop stool roll-in just right 🤣
The Element commercial was absolutely hilarious
Apple juicing is now a thing in my mind and I will make sure to propagate it’s usage
Support the companies that support BigTime, drink LMNT til they launch 'Jerry's Creative Juices' as a dedicated taste.
If they're cool with such an unhinged commercial they gotta be cool people; so we know their formula is working.
Not really, it was 2 minutes long. You don’t need any of that stuff, literally just drink at least a gallon of water a day. If you’re somehow deficient in something then you need to adjust your diet.
@@camnto I've guilty of saying "I've struck gold" when I'm letting out that dark pee.
@@conor7154 dude stop
MAN, I gotta say I LOVE these extended takes for when the car is on track. The raw sound with editing limited to just changing camera angles, it's awesome. I hope you guys can keep it that way. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks!
Came for the S14. Stayed for the turbo flutters. 🤤
The first time the turbo fluttered I almost came 😂 that thing is a beaut
turbo is sound in my ears..
Aint gonna lie, that was the smoothest transition into an Ad i ever seen, completely caught me off guard. AND surprisingly entertaining without feeling too campy or obnoxious. Well done!
The girlfriend portion caught me off so badly 😂😭
best youtube ad ive seen honestly
That edit at 20:20 was OG Fast and Furious vibes, with the upbeat techno and 6 cyl turbo sounds. This is my fav car channel ATM.
One often overlooked, and underrated tools that you should have in your car at ALL times, not just for track days, is a roll of 3M or other double sided adhesive foam tape. Can’t tell you how many bumpers or trim pieces I’ve reattached with the stuff, and it’s relatively inexpensive.
This has given me the motivation to get back into my 65 Galaxie. I bought it when Donut first started getting big about 5/6 years ago. Proud of you boys for sticking to what you believe in. Also a shoutout to that Milwaukee air compressor, one of my favorite things to have handy!
Those shirts are sick. Might be the first youtube merch I buy
Went to see if they had them, but sadly no.
Wish it would come to Europe
My exact thoughts
pls my son, he needs one of these
I have some of their currently released shirts. They're really comfortable and durable, def get em if you can!
wow OTHER youtube channels got me so accustomed to catastrophic failure on project cars, i forgot sometimes things actually work out
A lot of times they go to hard on stuff, just to have some extra content lol
These guys are INSANELY talented. The little details, the comedy, the information. It's packaged/edited well and shot with a looseness reminiscent of home movies (with professional editing). It really feels like a garage hang with your bros!! Good work lads!
starting at 13:36, is probably one of the best clips of any car ive ever saw. the drifting is so clean and controlled by someone who treats his vehicle absolutely amazing
Man, it’s been 4 years since I’ve drove my s13 and this is hard motivation to get back out there. Hope to run those clean doors someday brothers! 🤙🏻
"Welcome to TigBime!"
Of all the things that could break, I didn't expect the windshield seal to be the thing to go.
I appreciate Jerry's focus on safety, playing tennis with a helmet. 🤣
Best intro I've ever seeeeen in any cars channel, the camera movements, the graphics, the effects, the music ... daaaaaamn!!! Hands up for the shooter/editor. Lotta love for the S14 too :D ...
The whooshing of the turbo sounded good 19:05
20:46 Jeremiah is the greatest cheerleader ever!!!
Fire extinguisher? FIRE EXTINGUISHER!? FIRE EXTINGUISHEEEEEER?!?!?!?!?
Remember to ALWAYS secure it properly.
I didn't. When I flipped my car only the extinguisher did damage to me and the interior of the car.
It broke my arm into confetti and hit me in the face breaking my jaw.
All of that cuz I thought "It's secure enough"... It wasn't.
Damn thats nuts... yeah, secure all the things for sure
I was painting my garage and took the extinguisher off the wall and sat it down. I ended up kicking it over by accident. It fell over and the top snapped off sending the canister through the door and coating the entire garage (including my body and wet paint on the walls) in fine yellow powder😂😂😂 so lucky it didn't hit me. It was immediate and I had no idea what had happened for a moment.
seriously ow my dude
A tip people need to hear is, DO NOT cheap out on the screws you use to mount that kind of stuff XD Just pay the $8 for the packet of good screws, the $5 you save with the other screws that are not rated is not worth it lol.
I once had one go loose in a tight turn and go off (the safety pin had broke which is a separate issue) and fill my car with chalk dust.
Friends don't let friends apple juice. Stay hydrated kings
Drink water
Hydrate or Diedrate!
Modest Pelican here...
its only 99.5% water! thats horrible hydration!
@@Mistrfisteryou mustve been in the military lmao
I just want to send appreciation for going back to this format, doing what you guys love and being more raw and unfiltered and all in all more human. All thanks to you guys creating your own channel.
!! I’M APPLE-JUICING !!
That's the first sponsorship I've watched in a long time 🤣
they always do the best sponsorships
Outside of Linus Tech Tips, same (LTT generally keeps theirs pretty short, and usually right at the end, so I don't mind letting them play). I don't remember the channel or video, but there was one I was watching recently that had a _six_ minute sponsor spot in the middle of it
2:00 looool love the production 💯 very glad you guys have taken the step to still do youre own styles. this is what we need!!
A truly happy Jobey is adorable.
weirdo did it just make your day.
Yes, yes it did 😌👌
As someone with zero mechanical expertise I love these videos. I always wanted a project car but didnt know where to start. All quality information, even if it's seemingly superficial to a gearhead, and little to no youtube overdramatization. Keep up the quality work fellas, I'm looking forward to more videos about Bud's 6 pack!
I'm happy for you Jobe! Working on a project car and finally be able to drive it like you should is priceless.
Ever since the first moneypit miata videos ive always kept an eye on the S14 and after all this time its so good to see it reach the level that its at now, so proud of jobe and this build
Clicking like just for that stool roll in bit, shit was clean
Its tinally fime!
Congrats Jobe well done. I have always been left in the dark since you showed this car on donut. I'm glad you've finally had the time to work on this car and finally build on the car of your dreams. Keep kicking on man. great work!
Absolutely loved that you guys just let us listen to the car while Jobe was testing it
LOVE LOVE LOVE how yall running this. Also yeah editor is 15/10
Loved the bit where he was shaking his legs and holding the engine. Perfect throwback to 30s comedy. Loved it.
"The Rascal, who do u think bought that" bro i can't with jerry he's literally the final form of car guy: oh i just started a big youtube channel where i can do what I want? im going to do EVERYTHING. 80 grand later... This is exactly what I would be doing, love yall
Damn, Seeing the video of this thing's engine coming out 5 years ago was saddening, and now seeing it back alive is probably one of the best things I've seen in a while and its making me wanna get my e36 back on the road. awesome work Zach, hoping this thing it ripping for another 5 years!
Id happily wait another 5 years to see another beautiful car and big smiles like that again. Awesome video guys so happy to see yall doing what you love and having a blast!
IVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE HER DRIFT FOR SO LONG!!! Congrats Zach, I’m sure it was a dream💜
1:03 you and me both 😂😂😅
Same 😂
It looks like you lost a piece of trim circa 20:36
lol! yeah, he sure did.
😬😬
Aero upgrade?!
they call that the editor's easter egg
Weight reduction
Hopefully no new windshield leaks from there, lol
I love how much work you guys put into the editing and camera work. The content feels way more like a TV show than your standard youtube content. It goes a long way and engages me a lot more in whats happening. Glad to see you guys are doing what you love and its working out.
Dude... it looks SO GOOD!! Also for having such little seat time, he got the feel for the throttle, steering, everything QUICK. Jobe is a monster!!!
Finally! Whew, I was getting worried
tinally*
@@septanos😂😂
I came here to say the same thing!
Same here!
If these two aren't the best duo in the car industry then you're in denial.
21:30 that music sounds very reminiscent of games like NFS2 SE or NFS III HP. Amazing.
NFS High Stakes fr
Trance music
The music and s14 give off real fast and furious 1 race wars vibes! Loved it
To me sounded like some MCM vibes lol
F&F 1 as well
That gray anime Bigtime shirt goes hard 🥵
I absolutely LOATHE mid roll commercials. But when YOU guys do it, I actually watch them because it's entertaining. It's part of the show. Of course I love your videos. I just want to publicly affirm my appreciation of the time and efforts you put into your mid rolls. Funny stuff.
I want just the audio of that engine hitting peaks and that turbo. That car sounds so beautiful
NECK BRACE NECK BRACE NECK BRACE! Cmon man I've done racing for half my life and a neckbrace is arguably more crucial than the helmet. My helmet has only protected me once, my neck brace protected my neck and brain from whiplash over multiple crashes where my head never touched anything.
Okay but what are they gonna crash into?
@@AN2Felllla Why do they need a helmet if they're not going to crash into anything? Any crash a helmet would provide protection in a neck brace would also provide significant protection for your neck. There's a reason they're mandatory in basically any racing series.
Breck nace.
I'm sure they would need something to attach it to first, there's no roll rage and/or harness
@@eko8169 There are HANS devices that don't need to be held by a 6-point harness.
Fun fact, those 5lb extinguishers aren’t magic. They’re only enough to put yourself out, or slow the fire until you crew arrives with four 20 pounders. I’ve seen a fuel rail try to leave the atmosphere, and the 5lb was just enough to put out the co-driver, and four 20 pounders to put the car out. After that, the camera crews agreed to be fire guard with a 20lb in every photo corner.
2:20 smoooooth
Special effects and a.i.
I was gonna reply "how many takes did that take?" I fricken love these guys
That soundtrack when he was ripping🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥congrats joebie you did it, after 5 long years your here. You must feel so proud. I think I can speak for everyone that we were right there in the stands with Jerry cheering as load as we could 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
New BigTime upload while I'm on lunch break at work? Hell yea!
5:57 , now that's how you do a sponsor segment lol
0:16 to the windows to the wall 😎
First comment I seen as soon as I tapped the vid
that intro slide is absolutely mental, madmen actually recreated that one scene from Baby Driver with the Challenger slide, massive kudos
the editing on this one paired with the guys comedy and content is amazing. Keep getting better guys, you're killing it!
Bro, when can I buy that anime girl shirt!!!!!
17:25 I love the fact they turn off the music because there not better music than that engine!
22:05 when do those shirts come out ?!!
This is what happens when you work for yourself. You can do what you want. I’m so happy for yall. Good job on everything and that was some sick drifting.
I can't believe how excited I was watching this video. I'm so happy that car is finally complete (although no project car is ever complete).
Congratulations guys! Sick video.
A Rascal? Jeremiah is great at telling us he’s from Florida without telling us that he’s from Florida.
did not no jereiah had that dog in him, A1 baddie my guy
was looking for this comment, my man J is fine dining
Is this English?
1:35 loved the bit. very nice
Can we all take a second to appreciate how majestic that green looks under sun? Wow I need that paint code
This video made me cry when the turbo spooled up for its warm up lap ,, taking five years nd achieving one’s goal it’s a life blessing
Best sponsor spot I've ever seen. Normally I'm a POS and skip threw them. Not this time. So funny!
When are we gonna get those BigTime shirts!? They're awesome
If that’s an r33 on the shirt I’m gonna have to buy one.
Donut you dropped the ball BIG TIME! The Nissan is great! Really cool episode a log time coming. Beautiful, functional, elegant car
Dropping the ball is a bad thing lol...
okay i wasnt sure if i wanted to watch car content but man all of the first 10 minutes are more comedic gold than anything else. amazing job lads
Track day tip - bring wheel chocks... when coming off track brakes can be very hot, try to park on a flat and don't apply park brake, use chocks instead.
once upon a time before the days of FAst & furious i had a Nissan 240SX SE I built it as a sleeper i mean yeah sporty car but nothing overtly obvious it had been modded. Bilstein suspsension a cam new ported and polished head tame exhaust and a tune ( which wasnt really a thing in 1999 ) local time attack stuff in the parking lot at Qualcom round cones which was fun but kinda boring because that was all handling no really speed. so me and some like minded friends came up with a challenge. think Cannonball but instead of cross country was from Coronado Island to Vegas (specifically theJockey Club Parking lot) i did it 2 x in under 3 hours 0 tickets. 335 miles in less then 3 hours yes i went way over the speed limit mostly threw the dessert but my sx was a rocket ship but it got stolen eventually they found the car stripped but they didnt take the best part the stereo system in it was massive and sounded amazing idiots. anyway. love tour drift version makes me miss mine. PS when will that new merch drop. i want it!!!!!!
Wow, the editing on this was amazing! The extra time and effort in After Effects really pays off. Excellent work guys
BIKE TRACK DAY NEXT
So I'm finna dump ~ 15k of track parts into my rcf that just turned 50k miles old! Yall are an inspiration. Thanks for the content!
Yo the energy vibe of this channel waaay better and can’t wait for what else comes next wish yall the best of luck
It’s Tinally Fime 🤓
Living das dreams
Where's the duct tape? Zip ties, hammer & Duct tape! or "200 mph tape" if your a NASCAR boi
If there isn't a future video with a souped up Rascal I will be very disappointed.
I love videos where it's just full send and noise. Usually that's the formula to get huge views, but I really appreciate the methodical approach to prepping and planning. There are always outside variables but if you prepare and have a plan you'll know that it wasn't necessarily your fault if it goes wrong. Can't wait for more of all of this. Oh also ads that are funny and businesses that aren't so stuffy really make me consider the products. 😆
They made their ad watchable, I’ve never watched an add willingly if I could easily skip. This is why I’m here for this new journey 😂
Ken Block is probably looking down with approval...well done, lads.
If you are dehydrated, just, save money, drink water.
Save even more money and drink tap water.
Jeremy is the best friend everyone needs. Out there supporting and getting lit for Jobey 🔥🔥
You guys are so good at keeping the 'just talking' segments still really fun to watch. Very impressive.
Amazing video. So happy for Jobe the cut to Jerry with no shirt killed me.
Thank you for mentioning to bring water. The first time I went to Apple Valley Speedway, I nearly passed out from not realizing how hot it would be and that there wouldn't be any water at the track.
