Also, I’m just to the point about balancing the tires. They do make centramatic balancers for 8 lug trailer wheels. I haven’t gotten any yet, but I do plan to
9:44 Quite a few reports I've seen on the Brinkley and GD of wet bolt failure on these systems. The bolts are snapping at the perpendicular hole for the flow of the grease.
I've been noticing that too. At this point I'm wondering if the pros outweigh the cons. I would imagine they do, since the number reports a failures probably is a relatively low percentage and tied to the increased number of RVs that were sold. Hopefully, it's something that can be remedied through stronger materials.
@BTBRVReviews I have the same theory as you. But I also wonder if you "clocked" the bolt so the hole was facing 12 o'clock if it would be less susceptible to fracturing.
Suspension question for you. I have triple 8k lb Dexter torsion axles on 2 of my boat trailers and absolutely love them. I actually have the same tires on them as you do. On my cabin cruiser trailer, I’ve got about 35k miles on the tires. I will now never have a trailer without 17.5” wheels and these tires Why do RV’s, even as an aftermarket solution, not use torsion axles as an independent suspension option?
How would the continuum perform on a 32 foot 8500 pound trailer? I’ve seen some reviews stating the continuum is good for smaller trailers. Any opinion?
The issue folks with larger, longer trailers may have is the lack of a dedicated sway control feature. It shouldn't have any problem with weight distribution but you still need to ensure your balanced properly to achieve good sway mitigation.
Looking for a recommendation. I need a weight distribution hitch that is suitable for towing a wide variety of campers. Different weights, lengths etc. Also time and ease of installation is very important. I am towing with a GMC 3500 Duramax dually.
Hello, the challenge is that you'll still need to relocate or add the trailer side of the WDH to whichever trailer you'll be Towing. Weighsafe is a great option because it's only L brackets that need to be added to each trailer. Plus dialing in WD is incredibly simple.
I've always used B&W for years. They have not failed me. Great video.
I agree with you 100 percent on the Continuum Hitch. What a difference with towing experience. So easy and fast to set up.
Good video, and love the new tongue scale! I already own the E trailer version but will be upgrading, plus it's my fav colors!

You need to have a yard sale to get rid of some of your tools or equipment. I went with Dewalt for my battery tools.

Wow. The shelves in the shop are getting full. Maybe time for some giveaways there J.D... LOL. Great Video & Merry Christmas!

My father-in-law said “He who dies with the most toys, wins!”
You win ! 👍
I wish someone would do a comparison between the Dextor torsion axel and the road armor to see who tames the earth quake better.
Спасибо за видео и за вашу работу
