I have wanted one of these for 3 years now, but even now a 2021 is over $50K; even the CLA 35 AMG is stuck around $40K after 2 years; these things are holding their value well. Probably because they don't sell in large quantities and are quite rare to see on the street. For their performance, they are expensive....Mustang and Camaro can give you same 0-60 for $40K, while these are $60-$70K. However they are AMG! They are awesome! I've heard that for the final year of the CLA45, MB will bring the CLA45S to the US with the full 417 hp engine. I may have to break down and buy it no matter the price because that will be more rare than a unicorn.
I’ve been stuck on this car for a year now, and I WISH I could custom order one. I may have to hold out a bit longer, but I must have one as well. It’s really a sight to behold.
Not true the 0-60 for the mustang got is 4.2 and the Camaro and scat pack around the same this amg 0-60 is 3.8 and they all run 12.2 in the 1/4 mile which is good for a 4 cylinder and on top of that they have all the luxury stuff in the amg so that’s why it’s so much your actually getting alot for your money but it’s definitely not worth a whole 80k maybe 50-60k would’ve been better but the car is definitely good

A35, now a fully loaded GLA45 and love them both. The 45 engine responds much different than my ole A35 did. Good engines with a ton of tech, love it. They will keep most of their value as long as they aren’t beat to hard and not too high of miles, same HP and options in other vehicles isn’t really too far off in price.
@mikehawk120 agreed amercian muscle can't keep up with cla45 unless it's z06 or hellcat with thick tires

It is remarkable what Mercedes gets out of a 4-cylinder turbo. I believe the AMG 45s is the fastest 4-cylinder in production. 45s is finally coming to the US in the next six months!! Yes! Such fun cars to drive. The only thing I will warn people about. Is I am now on my third set of tires in less than 20k on my AMG45. How Mercedes sets up the alignment/camber with such outward toe angle shreds insides of tires like nothing I’ve experienced. It’s really something they need to address. Asking your customers to spend $5k + in tires less than 20,000 miles is not okay. So be prepared.

Good and quick review of Mercedes CLA 45. But why on earth do you build an AMG model that lacks the amg steering wheel? The seats & steering wheel are exactly identical to a regular boring A class?!

I drive an E53 with the non handmade 6cyl and I prefer it in any way over the 2.0.
However the cla is the best in its class. I could step in one and feel almost the same as in the E.
The interior is really good and also it's a decent long car, which makes it look bigger in comparison to its rivals.
But no Burmester is an absolute no-go in an AMG. I enjoy it in mine although not the best, makes a lot of fun.
M2 last or current gen is more of a sport car. Lets be real, nobody is using that backseat.
