Would be bery intresting because the e63s amg constantly puts out a slightly quicker 0 60 than the gt63s amg but the gt63s amg constantly puts out a faster quarter mile so its very interesting
Mercedes has done a good job at the rear. It looks much better than the previous model! (On the AMG, not really with the regular CLA)
The Mercedes AMG CLA45 is a beautiful and powerful sport sedan. I like the vertical front grill and I like the beautiful digital dashboard.
Sport coupe. Mercedes says its a coupe. Anyone would guess its a sedan but Merc likes to all their 4 doors coupes aswell :P

I dont know why there isnt C class version of CLA, if you know what I mean... CLS is too big but for some people CLA is too small, especially in the back so I dont get it why there isnt something like Audi A5 size

@@SM-1010 it's not stronger, it has absolutely no room for upgrades while a v8 has tons of room regardless of which model, more displacement = better reliability

I always thought it was looking at Matt,but we never saw footage of his face straight on while driving.
Today he pulls it off TURNS IT AROUND and shows us the telemetry time.
So it's used to film the instrument cluster on the move 👍

Sorry to break it to you but a "proper AMG" needs a V8. Brand dilution is a disease but understandable from a marketing, and financial point of view.

I reviewed and drove the 2020 AMG CLA 45 and it was impressive. The all-new steering wheel makes the car feel very planted, stiffer and agile. Launch 🚀 control is spectacular and it’s drives way better than the AMG CLA 35. I think a section of the video is repeated 😁. Great 👍🏾 video Matt!
How about the exhaust sound? It sounds a bit disappointing to me from this video. Even the 45s don’t have the backfire sound.

This is exactly my spec in the same colour. THe only issue is that the UK versions don't get Heads Up display which is available in Aus. Truly amazing car and far improved from the previous gen (which i had).

I really like these new designs incomparison to even the S class and even C class. I like how the front nose has an angle that goes down to the front fascia and has the right length from the driver seat area or cockpit area. The front wheels just sit in between in the center between the front and windshield. It just looks nice. Compared to the really enlongated nose generally that Mercedes has on former Sedans. I hope they further use this design on other models. What do you guys think?
Same I really like this design, but most aren’t like this because they have V8 engines and they’re larger which makes them have to increase the size of the front

It's nothing new...Evos and STis have been tuning to 600-700whp and a 0-60 time under 3.5s tuned for a long time now, while retaining the 2L displacement and 4 cylinders.

@@iamthelaw69 Yeah but to see it from a factory luxury car with a 5 year warranty is new. Those old evo's were mental, they drive more like race cars, these new 2.0L hyper cars are pretty decent daily drivers.

Based on the video and specs:
Pros: engine hp and torque, overall looks, interior design, good interior space for the class, decent trunk (boot), driftmode, good customizability
Cons: FWD bias AWD, 4 cylinder sound or lack there of, fake bits like vents, claustrophobic rear windows compromised by design, potentially price based on spec
